Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously achieve function and to prevent wasteful consumption of power, by providing an alarming means which demands user to feed water by clearly displaying a dry-burning state. CONSTITUTION:When a humidifying state continue to lower a water level in a feed water tank 1 the temperature of a vaporizing cylinder 2 increases with lowering of the water level. When some temperature is reached a temperature over-increase preventing device 5 is turned OFF, and a display lamp 12 is connected in series to a heater 3 together with a high resistor 11 to light ON a display lamp 6. Simultaneously, the applying voltage of the heater 3 having a low resistance load is reduced to a very low value to hardly generate heat, and thereby the temperature of the vaporizing cylinder 2 is decreased. When temperature is decreased to the ON point of the temperature over-increase preventing device 5, the display lamp 12 is short-circuited again, a total voltage is applied on the heater 3 to generate heat. When a water level is low or a tank is empty, temperature increases to the OFF point of the temperature over- increases preventing device 5 in an extreme short time to light ON the display lamp 12 again. As noted above, the display lamp 12 is lighted ON to clearly inform a user of a dry-burning state.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the above configuration, the indicator light 6 remains lit even when the air is empty, and the user cannot judge when to supply water, so the air may become dry without realizing it. However, there was a problem in that electricity was wasted even though no humidification was being performed.

Because of the structure that exceeds the function, if the water in the empty tank or evaporator cylinder continues to be energized when the water level is low, the evaporator cylinder temperature will rise, the overtemperature rise preventer will be turned off, and the empty state transmitting means and the heater will be connected in series. Since the connection is made and the voltage is divided by the resistance ratio, the heat generation of the heater with a low resistance load is reduced compared to the empty heating warning means, preventing overheating, and the empty heating warning means makes it clear to the user that the heating condition is empty. Inform the staff and urge them to supply water or stop using the water.

First, when water is injected into the water inlet and evaporation lower, it passes through the evaporator tube 2 and is stored while pushing out the air in the water supply tank 1 through the drain port 1b. Next, when the power switch 8 is turned on, a current flows through the heater 3 and generates heat, heating the water in the evaporator 2 and generating water vapor. The rising air causes the water to be discharged to the outside through the water inlet and evaporation lower, where it is dispersed and absorbed into the indoor air, increasing humidity. At this time, the overtemperature rise preventer 5 is closed and the indicator light 12 is short-circuited and is not lit.

As the humidified state continues and the water level in the water supply tank 1 falls, the temperature of the evaporator tube 2 rises accordingly, and when the temperature reaches a certain temperature, the overtemperature rise preventer 5 turns off and the indicator light 12 turns on the high resistance 11.
At the same time, the heater 3 is connected in series with the heater 3, and the indicator light 6 lights up. At the same time, the voltage applied to the heater 3 with a low resistance load becomes extremely small, and the temperature of the evaporator tube 2 decreases because it hardly generates heat. When the ONN point source temperature of the overtemperature rise preventer 5 drops, the indicator light 12 is short-circuited again and the full voltage is applied to the heater 3, which generates heat, but if the water level is low or the tank is empty, the temperature will rise very quickly. The temperature rises to the OFF point of the preventer 5 and the indicator light 12 is turned on again.

As described above, according to this embodiment, when electricity is continued when the tank is empty or at a low water level (dry boiling state), the overtemperature rise preventer 5 not only operates to prevent overheating, but also turns on the indicator light 12 to indicate that the water level is low. The status can be clearly communicated to the user.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention includes a water supply tank, an evaporator cylinder equipped with a heater, an overtemperature rise preventer fixed to the evaporator cylinder and connected in series with the heater, and an overtemperature rise preventer. By constructing a dry boil warning means with a high resistance load connected between both terminals of the boiler, the dry boil condition can be clearly communicated to the user, and it is less likely that the boiler will be left unattended. It is highly effective in that it has a humidifying function and can also completely prevent wastage of electricity.
