Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily measure the weight of a patient without giving pain to the patient by interposing >=1 load cells between a stretcher frame and a stretcher part placed thereupon. CONSTITUTION:Casters 3 are fitted to the reverse surface of the stretcher frame 1 to facilitate movement. Arms 5a and 5b, a screw 6, and a handle 7 are provided between a lower frame 2 and an upper frame 4 to enable the upper frame 4 to be moved up and down. A stretcher 9 is mounted through >=1 load cells 8 fitted on the top surface of the upper frame 4 together with the patient. The load cells 8 incorporate strain gauges and send piezoelectrically converted signals to a display device 18, which displays the weight of the patient. Consequently, the weight of a seriously sick person who can not stand is easily measured in safety.

Normally, a person's weight is measured by having the person whose weight is to be measured stand on a weighing device, but people with physical disabilities or elderly people who have difficulty standing upright may have their weight measured in this manner. is difficult or impossible. For this reason, for example, to measure the weight of a so-called bedridden elderly person, a method is adopted in which the person to be measured is suspended in a sleeping state using a special hanging device.

First, the above-mentioned hanging method requires a lot of manpower during measurement and also causes considerable pain to the person being measured. Therefore, instead of the hanging method, a stretcher device (hereinafter referred to as a "stretcher") equipped with moving means such as casters and a weight measuring means has been provided.

That is, in the case of an emergency, for example, when the stretcher is pulled out of the ambulance or moved to the location where the patient is, it is unavoidable that the stretcher may be handled quite roughly, due to the nature of the device. However, when subjected to such handling, the mechanical adjustment of the mechanical weighing device described above is easily lost due to vibrations and shocks. For this reason, the reliability of the weighing device attached to the stretcher is inevitably low, and on the other hand, in order to maintain reliability, adjustment work must be performed frequently, which requires a great deal of effort.

Installing means of movement such as casters on the stretcher,
A stretcher frame that supports loads such as a person's weight,
A load cell is arranged between the stretcher section on which the person is directly placed, and the body weight of the person is transmitted to the stretcher frame side via the load cell. As a result, the weight of the person is first applied to the load cell, so this added load (body weight)
is output electrically by a strain gauge, and the weight is displayed on a display device attached to the stretcher or installed separately. With this configuration, there are no mechanically operating parts, so it is less likely to go awry, and it is also far more accurate than mechanical systems.

8 is a load cell interposed between the stretcher frame 1 (directly the upper support frame 4 of the stretcher frame 1) and the stretcher part 9;
It is fixed at the four corners of the FIGS. 2 and 3 show the installed state of this load cell. Each load cell 8 is fixed to the upper support frame 4 of the stretcher frame 1 with a metal fitting 10. 14 is a strain gauge attached to the load cell body, which electrically outputs the deflection of the load cell body. Reference numeral 13 denotes a stopper screwed onto the lower part of the load cell main body, and when an excessive load is applied to the load cell, the lower end of the stopper comes into contact with the upper support frame 4, whereby the excessive load is supported by the upper support frame 4. , to prevent the load cell body from being damaged. Further, reference numeral 17 in FIG. 1 is an adder that adds up the electrical signals output from each load cell 8, and 18 is a display device that displays the weight of the subject based on the signal output from the adder 17. In addition to displaying the load, the display device 18 can also perform operations such as setting the zero point and adjusting the four corners. In addition, in the illustrated configuration, the display device 18 is attached to the stretcher frame 1, but this display device is installed separately from the stretcher, and when measuring weight, a connector is used to connect the load cell side and this separately installed display device. It may also be configured to be connected to a display device. If it is a separate device, it can be a large device with a built-in printer or the like.

On the other hand, a stretcher part receiver 11 is attached to a portion of the load cell main body that contacts the stretcher part 9, and the stretcher part 9 is placed on the stretcher part receiver 11 of each load cell 8. That is, the stretcher section 9 is simply placed on the stretcher frame 1 via the load cell 8, and can be easily attached to and detached from the stretcher frame 1.

The stretcher section 9 is locked by stoppers 12 formed on each of the stretcher section and the upper support frame 4 (see FIG. 1). In addition to the structure in which the stretcher section 9 is placed directly on the load cell, there are also structures in which the frame of the stretcher section 9 is used as a support frame and a stretcher section 16 of a different configuration is further placed on this frame (see Fig. 3). However, in short, it is sufficient if the structure is such that the load on the stretcher side is transmitted to the stretcher frame side via the load cell.

In the apparatus having the above configuration, first, the load of the stretcher section 9 itself is applied to each load cell 8, so the zero point of the weighing mechanism is set in this state. Next, by rotating the handle 7 and adjusting the elevating mechanism, the height of the bed on which the person M is sleeping is made equal to the height of the stretcher section 9, and then the person M is placed on the stretcher section 9. The weight of the person to be measured placed on the stretcher section 9 is supported by the stretcher frame 1 via each load cell 8, so the load cell 8 outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the weight of the person to be measured, and each of these load cells The output signals from are added in an adder 17 to obtain the displayed value! As described above, since the present invention is a stretcher, there is no complicated mechanical weighing mechanism, so even if the stretcher is handled roughly, there is less possibility of failure in the weighing mechanism. Highly accurate weight measurement can be performed at all times without causing pain to the person taking the measurement.
