(Prior Art) In order to improve the aesthetic appearance of the interior and exterior walls of buildings, it has been conventional practice to paint the surfaces of these walls to give them irregularities such as a stucco pattern.

An example of the above-mentioned conventional uneven pattern coating method is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 60-102979. To give an overview, after applying a primer paint to the exterior wall, etc., inorganic aggregate such as kansui stone is sprinkled on the painted surface, and a binding material is applied on top of this in a scattered manner, and this binding material is applied to the bone. A flat convex portion is formed by pushing the material to the upper end position, and finally, a top coat is applied to the flat convex portion and other parts to form a coating film with an uneven pattern.

In addition, when forces such as expansion and contraction or vibration are applied to the paint film, elastic deformation is difficult due to the inorganic aggregate, causing damage such as cracks to the paint film, especially the interface between the paint film and the inorganic aggregate. There was also the problem that it was easy to cause.

and 6.2:100 weight ratio. Immediately after spraying this top coat, apply a roller to the surface and level the acrylic rubber paint 9 above the upper end of the elastic aggregate 8 so that it is approximately the same height as the elastic aggregate 8.
A convex flat portion 10 is formed. This is dried to form a top coating film 12 having concave portions 11 without the elastic aggregate 8 and the flat convex portions 10.

In the above structure, the top coat 12 includes elastic aggregate 8 made of foamed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, but this elastic aggregate 8 is extremely lightweight compared to conventional inorganic aggregates. It is highly elastic. Furthermore, it has excellent compatibility with the top coat film 12.

Therefore, the coating film 12 having a deep uneven pattern can be formed in an extremely lightweight manner. In addition, if the joint portion 3 expands or contracts due to expansion or contraction of each external wall panel 2 due to changes in outside air temperature, humidity, vibration, etc., each coating film 5, 7, 12.13
follows and expands and contracts, but at that time, the elastic aggregate 8 also elastically deforms in response to the movement, so no damage such as cracks occurs to the top coat 12.

The results of a comparative test between the coating film according to the above example and a coating film formed using a top coat using akansuishi as an aggregate are shown below. The top coat used to form the coating film for comparison was a mixture of kansui stone and acrylic rubber paint at a weight ratio of 140:100. Painting was performed under the same conditions to form a coating film.
