接離するように設けられた可動コンタクトと、前
記固定コンタクトを覆うように設けられた固定コ
ンタクト側シールドとを備え、電流開閉責務を有
するガス絶縁開閉装置用断路器において、 前記可動コンタクトを通すための孔部を有し、
前記固定コンタクト側シールドを外側から覆うよ
うに形成された絶縁カバーを具備し、 投入の際に前記可動コンタクトと固定コンタク
トとの間で生じる先行アークを前記絶縁カバー内
で生じさせるように前記絶縁カバーの大きさと位
置とが設定されていることを特徴とするガス絶縁
開閉装置用断路器。 (2) 投入の際に前記可動コンタクトの先端が前
記絶縁カバーの孔部内に進入してから該可動コン
タクトの先端と前記固定コンタクトとの間で先行
アーク放電が開始されるように前記絶縁カバーの
孔部付近の肉厚が十分大きく設定されていること

載のガス絶縁開閉装置用断路器。 (3) 前記絶縁カバーは前記固定コンタクト側シ

有する導電材料からなり、該シールドが前記絶縁
カバーに鋳込まれた状態で該絶縁カバーに一体化
されていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の
範囲第3項に記載のガス絶縁開閉装置用断路器。 (6) 前記固定コンタクト側シールドは自立性を
有する導電材料からなり、前記絶縁カバーは前記
固定コンタクト側シールドの外面に絶縁物をコー
テイングすることにより形成されていることを特
