。BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, pearlescent luster has often been added to cleaning agents such as hair shampoos, body shampoos, and liquid soaps in order to give consumers a sensual good impression. Therefore, the method for effectively imparting desirable pearlescent luster to such detergents, etc. generally involves crystallizing the pearlescent agent in the final composition, and involves controlling the composition of the crystallization system, crystallization rate, etc. This is an attempt to control crystal growth by changing the

Recently, a method of forcibly mixing and dispersing a two-component system of monoethanolamide and ethylene glycol dihigher fatty acid ester in an aqueous medium has been disclosed, for example, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 47-804. There is. Even with such mixing and dispersion methods, there are limitations to the concentration of the resulting dispersion, non-uniform crystal sizes of the resulting pearlescent material, and problems with ethylene glycol dihigher fatty acid ester. Since there are drawbacks such as poor hydrolytic stability due to alkali, etc., there is no guarantee that a product that is practically satisfactory will be obtained.

。First, the saturated higher alcohol of the present invention preferably has a purity of 80% or more, preferably 85% or more when having 22 carbon atoms, and preferably 90% or more when having 20 or more carbon atoms. This is because if the purity of a saturated higher alcohol with 22 carbon atoms is less than 80%, the pearlescent luster will be poor, and if the purity of a saturated higher alcohol with 20 or more carbon atoms is 90%.
This is because even if it is less than that, sufficient pearlescent luster cannot be obtained.

Furthermore, examples of nonionic surfactants include a condensate of ethylene oxide and a hydrophobic base obtained by condensing propylene oxide with propylene glycol, alkylphenyl polyoxyethylene ether, fatty acid polyhydric alcohol polyoxyethylene, etc. can be exemplified. These surfactants are not limited to those specifically exemplified. For use in this invention, the most preferred surfactant from the viewpoint of pearlescent formation is an anionic surfactant such as sodium polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, especially sodium polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate (2E, O,). It is a surfactant.

00%) is preferably 5 to 50% by weight. This is because if the amount of the saturated higher alcohol is less than 1% by weight, pearlescent formation is insufficient, if the amount is more than 30% by weight, it is difficult to prepare a pearlescent composition, and if the amount of the surfactant is less than 5% by weight. If the amount is too small, pearlescent formation is insufficient, and if the amount exceeds 50 fE, it is difficult to prepare a pearlescent composition. In addition, various additives such as colorants, flavoring agents, preservatives and sterilizers, antioxidants, and ultraviolet absorbers may be added to the extent that they do not adversely affect the pearlescent luster.

。When blending the pearlescent composition of the present invention obtained in this way into a household or industrial cleaning agent, the blending ratio is not particularly limited, but as a general guideline, it is 1 to 501i It is desirable that the concentration be approximately 1%. This is because if the amount is less than 1% by weight, imparting pearlescent properties is insufficient, and if the amount is more than 50% by weight, the detergency deteriorates, which is not preferable.

As a result of the evaluation based on the evaluation method performed in 7 to 7, the pearlescent property was good, and even after being kept at 45°C for one month, no change in the pearlescent property was observed. Thermal stability was also excellent. Also, Example 1~
Similarly to Example 7, 8% by weight of the above pearlescent composition was added to the shampoo base and mixed. The pearlescent properties and thermal stability were evaluated and both were excellent.

と言うことか出来る。The pearlescent composition of the present invention has excellent pearlescent luster and thermal stability, and is also excellent in hydrolytic stability under heat and alkali, so it can be used as hair shampoo, body shampoo, etc. When added to cosmetic detergents, household detergents for hand washing or dishwashing, industrial detergents such as car shampoo, etc., it can give a beautiful pearlescent luster, and even after being exposed to high temperatures for long periods of time, it will remain the same. Not only does it show no abnormality in gloss and can be used even in a wider pH range of 1, but the saturated higher alcohol in the composition of this invention also gives it a good feeling of use, making it better than conventional commercially available products. Many excellent effects that are not seen before will appear. Therefore, it can be said that the significance of this invention is extremely large.
