Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a function in printing quality, to get rid of a replacement due to the breaking of a type belt, and to decrease process for manual repair, by providing a back-up frame for preventing a type belt travelling along an arrangement direction of a plurality of type faces from rising. CONSTITUTION:A current flows to a coil 1, while a core 2 is magnetized. An actuator lever 3 is attracted in an attraction direction (a) by the actuation of magnetic force. The actuator lever 3 makes a tail cap 4 act in an actuating direction (b). A print hammer 9 files and collides with a type face 11 of a type belt 10 via a printing paper 7 and an ink ribbon 8 to carry out printing. The type belt 10 is equipped to a drive pulley 15 and an idler pulley 16. The driving force of a motor 17 is transmitted to the drive pulley 15 and the type belt 10 travels in a travelling direction (c). The type belt 10 is prevented from rising by providing a knocking against an abutting part 14 in a back up frame 12, and the type face 11 and the face of the print hammer 9 are made to agree with each other by their facial collision. Further, the cause of a breaking accident due to wear or the like is removed by decreasing a contact part of the type belt 10 by providing a stepped part 18.

In the past, wear and tear accidents occurred because the type belt ran in full contact with the belt running surface of the backup frame.During printing, the type belt rises, so the type character surface and the printing surface are flush with each other. There were printing function defects such as uneven development, missing printed characters, and uneven characters. Another drawback was that it required a large amount of man-hours to correct printing defects caused by the rise of the type belt.

The printer mechanism according to the present invention can improve printing quality by suppressing the rise of the type belt and stabilizing its running. Furthermore, by using steps on the belt running surface to reduce the number of contact parts, it is an object of the present invention to provide a printer mechanism which prevents breakage of the type belt and enables high-quality printing.

The printer mechanism of the present invention is composed of a type belt running along the arrangement direction of the type character faces and a backup frame having a belt running surface. That is, the printer mechanism of the present invention is constructed by providing an abutting portion and a step on the belt running surface of the backup frame.

In the printer mechanism of the present invention, an abutting portion is provided on the belt running surface of the backup frame to prevent the type belt from rising during printing, so that the surface collision between the type surface and the print hammer surface coincides. There are no more accidents such as missing print or uneven print, and the print quality has been improved.

Furthermore, by providing a step on the belt running surface, there are fewer contact parts of the type belt, which eliminates accidents such as breakage and improves the service life.

When printing is performed, a current flows through the coil 1, which causes the core 2 to become magnetic, and the actuator lever 3 is attracted in the attraction direction a by the action of the magnetic force. The attracted actuator lever 3 moves the tail cap 4 in the operating direction, so that the print hammer 9 in the hammer guide 6 flies and prints the type formed on the type belt 10 via the print paper 7 and the ink ribbon 8. It collides with the character surface 11 and prints. Thereafter, the print hammer 9 returns to its original position due to the tension of the spring 5. As shown in FIG. 2, the type belt 10 is attached to a drive pulley 15 and an idler pulley 16, and the driving force of the motor 17 is transmitted to the drive pulley 15 so that the type belt 10 runs in a running direction C. Conventional printer mechanism, 4th
As shown in the figure, since the belt running surface 13 of the backup frame 12 is flush, there is a tendency for the type belt 10 to rise during printing, resulting in misalignment of the surface collision between the type character surface 11 and the print hammer 9 surface. However, as shown in FIG. 3, by providing an abutment part 14 in the backup frame 12 according to the present invention, the type belt 11 is prevented from rising and the surface collision between the type character surface 11 and the print hammer 9 surface is made to coincide. .

Further, by providing the step 18, the number of contact parts of the type belt 10 is reduced, thereby eliminating the cause of breakage accidents due to wear and the like.
