Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease man-hour for assembling wax models and to improve efficiency by disposing plural pieces of gate parts of the models to the cavity in the runner part of an endless pipe shape formed by combining metallic molds and injecting wax into the cavity part, then solidifying the same. CONSTITUTION:The cavity 7 of the cylindrical tube-shaped runner part is formed of the injection mold consisting of an inner ring mold 1, an outer ring mold 2 and a cope 3. The gate parts 5 of the wax models 4 are disposed on the grooves 6 of the outer ring mold 2. Dislodgment and pull-off of the wax models are effectively prevented if the gate parts 5 of the wax models 4 are so formed as to increase the diameter thereof from the product side toward the end faces of the gate part 5. The wax is injected into the cavity 7 of the runner part by an injection molding machine and is solidified; thereafter, the outer ring mold 2 is removed and the integrated wax models 8 are taken out. Easy formation of the injection-molded and assembled tree by lamination of the wax models 8 is possible if mating parts are simultaneously molded to the runner parts of the integrated wax models 8.

Assembling the wax model requires the most man-hours of all the processes in the Rostova-Nox casting method, and welding the wax model one by one to the outer circumferential surface of the sprue rod as in the past is time-consuming. There were too many inconveniences. Furthermore, since welding is performed using a heating device, there is a problem that the heated device may come into contact with the wax model, or that the solder used during brazing may adhere to the product model and cause damage.

On the other hand, manufacturing a large number of models in one mold complicates the structure and increases the manufacturing time, and unless the product is mass-produced, it is not suitable in terms of delivery time and cost. In addition, it is difficult to make a large number of pieces with the same precision both in terms of mold production and in the production of wax models, which poses a problem in terms of quality.

Under these circumstances, the present invention reduces the number of assembly work, eliminates the fear of the wax model falling off or being damaged, and achieves uniformity of the product by molding a single mold, making it possible to reduce the number of lost parts that can be applied to small-volume production of a wide variety of products. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an integral wax model used in a wax casting method.

According to the present invention, the object is characterized in that a plurality of wax model weirs are arranged in an endless tubular runner cavity formed by a predetermined mold, and wax is injected into the cavity and solidified. This is achieved by a method for manufacturing an integral wax model for lost wax casting.

The present invention will be explained based on the illustrated embodiment. 1 to 3 are cross-sectional views and perspective views showing the manufacturing process of an integral wax model according to the present invention. This structure forms a runner cavity 7 having a circular tubular shape. The plurality of wax models 4 are
It is placed in the groove of the outer ring mold 2 shown in the figure. At this time, the end face 5 of the weir of the wax model is arranged so as to reach the runner cavity 7. If the diameter of the weir part of the wax model increases from the product side toward the end surface 5, it is effective to prevent the wax model from falling off or coming off. When the wax model is press-fitted into the runner cavity 7 by an injection molding machine, it wraps around the reverse slope shape and is fixed.

After injection molding, the outer ring mold 2 is removed and the integral wax model 8 shown in FIG. 3 is taken out. At this time, if a wax model extrusion jig such as an extrusion bottle is used, the wax model can be easily removed without damaging it.

If a fitting shape is simultaneously molded into the runner part 9 of the integral wax model 8, when the wax model 8 is stacked on a drum (not shown), the rotational direction will be positioned and the injection molding assembly shown in FIG. 4 will be achieved. Tree 10 can be easily completed.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is no longer necessary to weld the wax model as in the conventional method, and the position where the wax model is attached is formed by a mold, so that the efficiency of assembly work can be significantly improved. In addition, since no heating equipment is used, the wax model is safe and will not be damaged or fall off due to insufficient welding.
