Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title tape capable of increasing the strength of, e.g., a green veneer or corrugated box when reinforced therewith and of simplifying the reinforcing process thereby reducing the cost, by laying adhesive threads having an adhesive adhering thereto on top of that side of a tape to which an adhesive has been applied so that the adhesive threads are bonded to the tape to form a composite tape. CONSTITUTION:This reinforcing tape is prepared by applying an adhesive 2 to at least one side of a tape 1, and bonding threads 3 having an adhesive 4 adhering thereto to that surface of the tape 1 to which the adhesive 2 has been applied so that a composite tape 5 is formed. This constitution enables the adhesion of this reinforcing tape to an object in one step while keeping the position of the bonded adhesive threads 3 serving as primary reinforcement in relation to the tape 1 serving both as supporting material and secondary reinforcement.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (a) Industrial Application Fields The present invention is applicable to, for example, bonding to both sides of a raw veneer veneer that is carved from logs with a rotary lace and reeled, or This invention relates to a reinforcing tape that increases the strength of objects by adhering them to the inside of creases when manufacturing boxes.

(b) Prior Art Conventionally, as a tape for increasing the strength of an object, for example,
When reeling raw veneer veneer cut from rotary lace, the above steps should be taken to prevent cracks from occurring on the sides of the veneer veneer or from expanding existing cracks during the transfer or drying process. It is already known to glue paper tape on both sides of a veneer veneer.

Furthermore, although corrugated pole boxes have the advantage of being lightweight, they have the disadvantage of low compressive strength, and there has been no suitable reinforcing means to solve this problem.

(c) Problems to be Solved by the Invention Since the veneer veneer in the known method for reinforcing veneer veneer has just been cut out from raw wood using a rotary lace, its moisture content is extremely high and the paper tape absorbs moisture. When absorbed, its strength rapidly decreases and it can break.
Furthermore, if the width of the tape itself was increased in order to improve its strength, the veneer veneer had to be made wider and more parts were cut off in order to manufacture veneer of a predetermined width, resulting in higher costs.

In addition, tape coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side is widely used and could be used to reinforce corrugated pole boxes, but it was not able to provide sufficient strength, and If reinforcing measures were taken, the work process would become complicated and the number of steps would increase, resulting in a significant increase in cost, so it could not normally be implemented.

(d) Means for Solving the Problems The present invention provides a composite tape by applying an adhesive to at least one side of the tape, and bonding an adhesive-coated thread to the adhesive-applied side of the tape. By configuring this structure, the adhesive thread, which is the main reinforcing material, and the tape, which is the holding material that also serves as the secondary reinforcing material, can be bonded to the object in one step while keeping the mutual bonding position constant, which solves the above-mentioned problem. solved.

(E) A composite tape is formed by applying adhesive of the working tape, adding adhesive to the side that has the adhesive, and polymerizing and bonding the adhesive thread, and applying the adhesive to the side of the composite tape where the adhesive thread is attached. The composite tape is adhered to the object by pressing it against the part of the object to be reinforced and performing an adhesive treatment depending on the properties of the adhesive added to the adhesive thread.

The adhesive thread 3 is made by impregnating a thermoplastic adhesive into a substantially untwisted, relatively thick (for example, about 1 inch in thickness) yarn made of synthetic M&miscellaneous monofilament, and threading it between a pair of rollers, etc. or thin threads or twisted thin threads (including natural #ll fibers and other fibers)
is composed of a plurality of pieces of wood arranged in a tape shape and impregnated with a thermoplastic adhesive 4, and this adhesive thread 3 is attached to the tape 1.
The composite tape 5 is constructed by applying an adhesive and polymerizing it to approximately the center of the surface.

The composite tape 5 is wound around a core tube, and this rolled ball is rotatably supported on two left and right feeding devices so as to be able to be braked as appropriate. The ends of the composite tape 5 are pulled out and a veneer veneer is rolled out. When reinforcing both sides, as shown in FIG. 2, raw veneer veneer 7 cut from rotary lace 6 is fed to the reeling part during the process of winding it into reeling device 8, and the rolled ball is rotated. The composite tape 5.5 is wrapped around both sides of the veneer veneer 7 and pressurized, and the rewetting adhesive 2 of the tape 1 absorbs the moisture contained in the veneer veneer 7 and attaches to the veneer veneer 7. When the ball is bonded to cover the adhesive thread 3 and heated in the drying process, the thermoplastic adhesive 4 is melted and bonded to the veneer veneer 7 to be dried.

Conventionally, the width of the tape was about 9 to 13 mm, but
The tape 1 in this embodiment also serves as a reinforcing material, but since the main reinforcing action is performed by the adhesive threads 3, the tape 1 only needs to hold the overlapping position of the adhesive threads 3, and its width is set to 4 to 6 mm as described above. The wasted part of the veneer veneer (the part to be cut off) can be narrowed, and the cracks on both sides of the veneer veneer 7 will not widen during the drying or transfer process.
Even if no new cracks occur, the adhesive thread 3 remains firmly connected, and the expansion and generation of the cracks can be reliably prevented.

Furthermore, if reinforcement is attempted using only the adhesive thread 3, the adhesive added thereto will also adhere to the other polymerized side, causing a blocking phenomenon.

Furthermore, when the corrugated pole paper is manufactured into a box, when the composite tape 5 is adhered to the four corners of the box in the vertical direction and the inside of the bent portion of the bottom and lid, the tape 1 is attached to the covering material of the adhesive thread 3. The adhesive thread 3 acts as a reinforcing bar in reinforced concrete to prevent bending, thereby increasing the compressive strength of the corrugated pole box by about 10 to 15%. I was able to do that.

In addition, when applying the composite tape 5 to a cardboard box, a pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to the side where the adhesive thread 3 is polymerized, and a release agent is applied to the other side. The adhesive is a thermoplastic adhesive when the adhesive thread 3 is bonded under heat and pressure, and when the adhesive thread 3 is bonded by another adhesive method, a suitable adhesive is used, such as a solvent-based adhesive, a chemically reactive adhesive, or another adhesive. Adhesives, etc. shall be selected and used.

(G) Effects of the Invention The present invention provides a composite tape by applying an adhesive to at least one side of the tape 1 as described above, and bonding an adhesive-coated thread to the adhesive-coated side of the tape 1. Since the tape 1 for positioning the adhesive thread 3 and the adhesive thread 3 can be simultaneously supplied and bonded, the number of work steps can be reduced and costs can be significantly reduced.

In addition, the position of the adhesive thread 3 relative to the tape 1 does not change, ensuring reliable coverage, and the adhesive thread 3 comes off from the tape 1 and is bonded to another member by the adhesive of the adhesive thread 3, reducing so-called blocking. It is possible to prevent this from occurring, and it is also possible to accurately bond the adhesive thread 3 to a desired reinforcing position.

Furthermore, if adhesive tape is supplied to single-sided corrugated poles, front liners, etc. that are transported at high speed, it may be cut due to tension, but since the tape 1 and adhesive thread 3 are integrated, it can be easily transported at high speed. No cutting.
