Claims (1)
端を施蓋するポンプハウジング及び上カバーから
なるケーシングと、該ケーシング内に設けられた
電動モータと、前記ポンプハウジングのポンプ室
内に設けられたタービンが該電動モータによつて
回転することにより、燃料を吐出するタービン型
ポンプ部とからなる燃料ポンプにおいて、前記ポ
ンプハウジングのアウタハウジング内面側には凹
窪状のダスト沈澱室を形成し、前記タービンの下
面側には該ダスト沈澱室と対向した位置に光反射
部材を設け、また前記アウタハウジングには該光
反射部材に向け光を照射する発光手段を設けると
共に、該光反射部材からの反射光を受光する受光
手段を設け、該受光手段による受光量が減少した
ときには前記ダスト沈澱室にダストが侵入してい
ることを報知する報知手段とから構成したことを
