(Prior Art) Generally, this type of electric water heater is designed to keep water warm at a temperature of about 90 to 93° C. after boiling it, for reasons such as safety. On the other hand, in actual use, there are many cases where boiling water is required immediately after boiling, and in such cases, if boiling is not noticed and overlooked,
It automatically switches to the keep-warm state, and by the time you realize it, the temperature has already dropped to the keep-warm temperature, and you have to boil it again to get hot water just after boiling, resulting in waste.

Conventionally, this type of electric water heater has been designed to indicate the boiling time by switching the indicator lamp, but if you are not present or do not pay close attention to the indicator lamp, the boiling time will be indicated. This results in the waste mentioned above, and it is extremely inconvenient to be present at all times and keep an eye on the indicator lamp in order to obtain hot water immediately after boiling. It was hot.

(Purpose) The present invention was developed in view of the above points, and it is possible to accurately recognize the boiling time by notifying boiling by sound, and to eliminate the waste and inconvenience of the conventional method.

7 detects boiling based on water temperature or steam temperature, etc.
With the boiling detection switch turned OFF, relay coil 8
Together, they form a series circuit and are connected in parallel to the water heater 2. 9 is a relay switch corresponding to the relay coil 8, which connects the switching piece C and NO contact to the thermal switch 5 in parallel. Reference numeral 10 denotes a buzzer circuit including a buzzer (alarm device), a circuit section for making the buzzer sound, a circuit section for stopping the sound of the buzzer after a certain period of time, etc., and a relay switch 9.
Connect to the NC contact of Reference numeral 11 denotes a manual switch for reboiling, which is turned on only when pressed, and is connected in parallel to the thermal switch 5. 12 is a boiling water indicator lamp, and 13 is a heat retention indicator lamp.

In the above configuration, when water is poured into the container and the power is turned on, the water boiling heater 2 and the warming heater 3 are both energized and start boiling water because the thermal switches 4 and 5 are in the ON state. At the same time, relay coil 8 also turns on boiling detection switch 7.
Because it is in the state, it is energized and relay switch 9 is turned on.
Switch from NC contact to NO contact.

As the water boiling operation progresses and the water temperature reaches 85°C, the thermal switch 5 is turned OFF. but,
The relay switch 9 turns on electricity to the water heater 2.
Since the NO contact side is ON, it continues as is.
When the water temperature further rises to 93° C., the thermal switch 4 is turned off to cut off the power supply to the heat-retaining heater 3, and the water continues to be heated only by the water heater 2.

Then, when boiling starts and boiling detection switch 7 detects boiling and turns OFF, relay coil 8
When the power is cut off, relay switch 9 is switched from the NO contact to the NC contact. As a result, the heating by the heater 2 for boiling water is stopped and the water boiling mode (boiling mode) is switched to the keeping warm mode, while the buzzer circuit 1
0 is energized, the buzzer sounds, and the sound alerts you that it has boiled. Therefore, if hot water immediately after boiling is required, the desired hot water can be obtained accurately by listening to the sound of the buzzer and performing the pouring operation.

After switching to the heat retention mode, if the water temperature drops to 90℃ or less over time, the thermal switch 4 will turn on.
Then, the power supply to the heat-retaining heater 3 is restarted, and thereafter, the power supply to the heat-retaining heater 3 is controlled by turning ON/OFF the thermal switch 4 to maintain the temperature at a predetermined temperature.

When replenishing cold water into the container during heat retention, if the water temperature drops below 80℃, thermal switch 5 will turn on.
The state will be switched to the state, and the same operation as described above will automatically re-boil the boiling water. Also, manual switch 1
If you turn on 1, you can boil the water that has been kept warm again. Note that the boiling detection switch 7 returns to the ON state in the heat retention state. Of course, the buzzer also sounds when the water boils again.

Furthermore, when the sound alerts you to boiling water, the power to the water heater is turned off, so even if you turn on the water immediately after hearing the sound, the hot water may not come out as quickly as when hot water is being heated. It is safe as there is no risk of hot water splashing out.
