Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a photosensitive material and an image receiving material from winding around a pressing nip roll by transferring the photosensitive material and the image receiving material with pressure while applying a mold releasing agent to the periphery of the pressing nip roll. CONSTITUTION:Mold releasing agent applicators 76, 77 each of which consists of a felt 96 and a supporting member 56 are fitted to the peripheries of a pair of pressing nip rolls 80, 82 on the photosensitive material/image receiving paper inserting side in the axial direction of the nip rolls 80, 82 and the felt 97 is dipped into the mold releasing agent such as silicone oil and fluorine group oil and supported by the supporting members 95 so as to be contacted with the peripheries of the nip rolls 80, 82. Thereby, the mold releasing agent is always uniformly applied to the peripheries of the nip rolls 80, 82 by rotating the nip rolls 80, 82 and slidingly contacting the rolls 80, 82 with the felt 96. Since peeling claws 78, 79 are excited by the nip rolls 80, 82, the photosensitive material S and the image receiving paper C curved along the nip rolls 80, 82 are guided in the carrying direction by the peeling claws 78, 79.

As an example of an image recording material that requires at least a pressure treatment process, for example, a vinyl compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a colorant precursor are formed on a support as disclosed in JP-A-57-179836. Systems carrying synthetic polymeric resin-walled capsules containing . The image recording method using this system is to imagewise harden the microcapsules by exposure to light, rupture the unhardened microcapsules by applying pressure, and obtain a color image from the released colorant precursor. The method is characterized in that high quality images can be obtained through simple dry processing. However, this system has the drawback of significantly lower photosensitivity than systems using silver halide.

This image recording method first performs imagewise exposure to form a latent image, then develops it by heating, and polymerizes the polymerizable compound in the area where the latent image exists to form a macromolecular compound to form microcapsules. harden. Then, the image-receiving material having an image-receiving layer to which the color image-forming substance can be transferred is stacked and pressurized to rupture at least a portion of the microcapsules in the area where the latent image does not exist, and the color image-forming substance is transferred to the image-receiving material. A receiver is used to obtain an image on a material.

Then, using the above-mentioned photosensitive material, this photosensitive material is subjected to imagewise exposure, heat development is performed, and then it is overlaid with an image-receiving material and pressurized, until an image of desired density and desired color density is obtained on the image-receiving material by transfer. An image recording device that automatically performs this has also been proposed.

In this image recording apparatus, in order to transfer the heat-developed photosensitive material onto the image-receiving material, the photosensitive material and the receiving material are overlapped and inserted between a pair of pressure nip rollers, and a It is pressurized with high pressure. This reminder,
For example, 5y contained in the coating layer of the photosensitive material and image-receiving material.
Chemical substances such as aR (styrene butadiene rubber) and PTA (polyvinyl alcohol) act as adhesives,
During pressure transfer, the photosensitive material and the image-receiving material may adhere to the pressure nip roller, and there is a problem in that the photosensitive material and the image-receiving material become wrapped around the pressure nip roller.

However, with the above-mentioned peeling means, if the photosensitive material and the image-receiving material are individually inserted into a pressure device and pressurized, and the image forming surface is brought into direct pressure contact with the pressure nip roller, it becomes difficult to peel the material and the image-receiving material is pressed. It ends up being glued. Then, the photosensitive material or image-receiving material wraps around the pressure nip roller, making pressure transfer impossible, resulting in the problem that the pressure device must be completely disassembled to remove the photosensitive material or image-receiving material.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] The above object of the present invention is to apply a substance on a support to which an image generated by imagewise exposure is fixed by pressure, and to use a photosensitive material.
An image recording device that overlaps the photosensitive material and the image-receiving material and pressurizes and transfers the image obtained on the photosensitive material to the image-receiving material is used. This is achieved by an image recording apparatus that is equipped with a molding agent application means and a pair of peeling claws that respectively abut the peripheral surface of the pressure nip roller on the downstream side of the contact portion.

That is, by pressure-transferring the photosensitive material and the image-receiving material while applying a release agent onto the circumferential surface of the pressure nip roller,
Chemical substances contained in the coating layer of the photosensitive material and image-receiving material can be prevented from adhering to the pressure nip roller, so the photosensitive material and image-receiving material will not wrap around the pressure nip roller and become unable to be transferred by pressure. .

By the way, on the circumferential surface of the pair of pressure nip rollers 80 and 82 on the sensitive material image receiving paper ejection side, there is a peeling claw 78 that is configured to be swingable.
.. 79 is urged against the pressure nip roller 80°82. Here, the contact portion of the peeling claw 78.79 with the pressure nip roller 80.82 has a sawtooth shape as shown in FIG. 3, for example, so that the contact pressure with the pressure nip roller 80.82 is high. It is formed.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, while applying a release agent on the circumferential surface of the pressure nip roller, the light-sensitive material and the image-receiving material can be separated. Pressure transfer can prevent the photosensitive material and image-receiving material from adhering to the pressure nip roller due to the chemical substances contained in the coating layer of the photosensitive material and image-receiving material. Excellent pressure transfer is performed without the paper being wrapped around the pressure nip roller. Further, it is possible to prevent dust from adhering to the circumferential surface of the pressure nip roller, and a good image can be obtained.
