Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A trim consisting of a core material and a skin material covering the upper surface of the core material is affixed to the passenger compartment side surface of a door inner panel or rear side inner panel of an automobile. In a structure in which a center trim consisting of a soft pad and a skin material covering the surface of the soft pad is attached at an arbitrary intermediate position of the trim, a through groove is formed in the core material at the part where the peripheral part of the center trim comes into contact. The end portion of the skin material constituting the center trim is inserted into the through groove and adhered to the outer peripheral back surface of the core material, and the door inner panel or rear side inner panel located on the peripheral back surface of the center trim. A center trim mounting structure characterized in that a protrusion is formed to press a rear surface of a peripheral portion of the center trim toward a vehicle interior.
