用紙積載板と、これら用紙積載板の外側端に夫々
直立して設けた用紙ガイドと、これら用紙ガイド
間に渡したローラシヤフトに取付けた分離ローラ
と、この分離ローラに用紙を弾性部材を介して圧
接する押上板と、最上位の用紙を分離する分離爪
とを備え、用紙を一枚ずつ分離給送する自動給紙
装置の用紙分離機構において、 前記分離爪は分離ローラよりも前方に設けた薄
手用紙用の第１の分離爪と、厚手用紙の分離給送
の際にセツトすることにより第１の分離爪よりも
手前の位置に先端を突出させる厚手用紙用の第２
の分離爪とからなることを特徴とする自動給紙装
