。First of all, taping has disadvantages such as being prone to rashes, metal fittings being used to fasten the ends of the bandage, and the fact that it spoils quickly and is almost disposable, increasing the cost required for complete recovery. One drawback is that the procedure requires very advanced techniques. In other words, there are various types and severity of injuries, and taping must be applied depending on each individual.For example, excessive tightening may cause circulation disorders, or hematoma in soft tissue may occur, which may worsen the injury. There are cases where this procedure has been performed, and there is always the problem that it can only be performed by experienced doctors or specialized trainers.

Among these, the drawback regarding adjustment is particularly serious because if it cannot be adjusted according to the degree of detonation during the healing stage, healing will be delayed. Furthermore, conventional dedicated orthoses have the disadvantage of being extremely lacking in versatility, which leads to the disadvantage that they are difficult to manufacture as ready-made products and are expensive.

Its features include a heel encasement made of a flexible material with a window opening to expose a portion of the heel, and a heel encasement that secures the core to the heel while wrapping around the ankle and instep. It consists of a belt part that fixes the rotation, so it is lightweight, feels very comfortable to wear, and does not require any special skills to wear.
This orthosis has the advantages of being able to easily accommodate various symptoms and individual differences.

Invented an ankle orthosis that is composed of a flexible heel encasing part closed like a bag and a belt part that wraps around and fixes the ankle and instep while fixing the core part to the heel part. (Japanese Patent Application No. 107145/1982), however, as a result of repeated research, it was found that the orthosis according to the invention may cause problems in terms of comfort, tension adjustment, ease of wearing shoes, etc. This is thought to be mainly due to the shape of the heel encasing portion, which led to the present invention.

In many cases, it is not necessary to preserve the heel in an encapsulated state;
This is because if the heel portion is also subjected to the tension generated by the belt portion being wound and fixed, the effect of preserving the affected area may be reduced as a result. The present invention is revolutionary in that it eliminates these drawbacks due to the presence of the window.

Both of these materials are classified as polyurethane-based elastic fibers, and are well suited to the properties of braces (1), which apply appropriate pressure to the affected area by applying tension and wrapping and fixing. 。FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the appliance (1) shown in FIG. 1. The brace (L) is roughly obtained by sewing together four belts. The sutures are made by suturing two belts at a time so that the included angle is about 150 degrees [sewn points (A) and (A)), and then suturing the sewn belt so that the overall shape is X-shaped. [Suturing location (B)] In this case, a heel encasing part (3) is naturally obtained, but as far as the inventor has made the prototype, it is better to partially overlap stitches (sewn part (B)) as shown in the figure. The shape of the joining part (3) closely followed the heel of the foot, making it easy to wind the belt, and providing a good feeling of wearing. Note that the window portion (5) may be cut out after the four belts are sewn together, or the shape of the belt may be changed in advance so that the window portion appears during stitching. (In the illustrated example, one vertex of the belt is cut out in advance.) Next, Figure 3 (al, (bl, and (C) shows an example of how to use the brace (1) shown in Figure 1. (As mentioned above, the orthosis according to the present invention is versatile and can be applied to various conditions such as damage to the medial and lateral ligaments and damage to the soil base, and cannot be used for a fixed purpose.) There is no method) First, bring the inner surface of the heel encasing part (3) into contact with the heel (hl),
The four belt parts (2)... can be pulled toward the front of the foot (see figure (a)). At this time, from the window (5) to the heel (

That is, if strong reinforcement is desired, a non-stretchable material is preferable, and if a comfortable wearing experience is desired, rather than strong reinforcement, a stretchable material should be used. The one used and illustrated by the present inventor is two slightly stretchable rectangular pieces with a width of 25 mm, but the number of pieces to be used and their shape should be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the symptoms and other factors. It is. Furthermore, it is thought that the uses of the present invention product will be further expanded if a tape-like material is provided as an accessory member of the present invention device and the tape is cut to an appropriate length at the discretion of the user. Of course, the use of this hook-and-loop fastener band (6) is not an essential element of the invention.

Another method is to use it as a splint by sandwiching it between part (2) and the skin. (Not shown) (f) Effects of the invention As explained in detail above, the ankle orthosis according to the present invention has the following effects:
Consists of a heel encasing part made of a flexible material that has a window opening to expose a part of the heel, and a belt part that wraps around and fixes the ankle and instep while fixing the core part to the heel part. This orthosis is characterized by being lightweight and does not use hard materials such as metal members, so there is little discomfort when wearing it, and it feels very comfortable to wear. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions depending on the winding method, such as adjusting the tension, and since it does not require special techniques unlike taping, it is easy to use, and its versatility reduces the number of ready-made products. Therefore, it can be provided at a low price.
Furthermore, the presence of the window has the following advantages: it provides a better fit, improves the ability to support and fix the transverse tarsal joint, and makes it easier to wear regular footwear. This is an advanced invention.
