る。これら従来の机用照明器具はいずれも机上面
の上方から光線を配光するために光源を机上面の
上方に位置させるための構造ならびに安定した状
態に保つための構造が必要であり、部品数が多く
またそれらの強度について考慮する必要がありコ
ストが上昇する不都合があつた。さらに多くの机
用照明器具は机上面を均一に照明することができ
ないために光源位置を必要に応じて移動させなけ
ればならずその機能を構造部材に付加する必要が
あつた。またこれらの構造物が使用する人間の視
界に入り繁雑な印象があつた。

光灯4からの光線が直接使用者の視界に入らない
ようにし、さらに散乱光により光線を机上面5′
に均一に配光している。
