[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a foot keyboard device for an electronic musical instrument, which includes rotatable foot keys for the electronic musical instrument and a partial opening on one side located at a position corresponding to the foot keys. A switch is provided with a movable piece that is turned on and off by being guided by the switch case in a switch case, and one end on the foot key side is used as a free end between the foot key and the switch. , a resilient member whose other end on the opposite side is fixed and is provided so as to be deflected by contact with rotation of the foot key, and a surface provided on the resilient member and on which an opening of the switch case is formed. A cushion material is provided on the resilient member having a size larger than the opening so as to be in constant contact with the opening, and the cushion material is pushed through the opening of the switch case by the deflection of the resilient member due to the rotation of the foot key. By deforming and pressing the cushion material, the movable piece is operated while being guided by the switch case, so that vibrations of the free end of the elastic member occur during playing of the electronic musical instrument. To provide a foot keyboard device for an electronic musical instrument, which eliminates noise caused by shaking vibrations and enables good performances.

The inventor of the present application has provided the following regarding a foot keyboard device for an electronic musical instrument such as a full scale type electronic organ, for example.
We devised a foot keyboard device with the structure shown in Figure 1. That is, the foot key 2 is rotated by a predetermined angle around the fulcrum 1 provided on the player side of the electronic musical instrument by the pressure of the foot, and the leaf spring 4 is bent by the tip 3 of the foot key 2. Then, the switch button 6 is pressed by the pressing force of the cushion material 5 attached to the leaf spring 4, and the switch button 6 is turned on, for example. In addition, in the foot keyboard device having this structure, when no pressure is applied to the foot key 2, the tip 4' of the leaf spring 4 is not in contact with the tip 3 of the foot key 2, and there is a gap. One end of the leaf spring 4 is fixed, and in this state, the cushion material 5 is configured to have a gap with the switch button 6.

The foot keyboard device of an electronic musical instrument having such a structure is different from a conventional foot keyboard device of an electronic musical instrument, for example, a structure in which a switch operation is performed by a leaf spring fixed to the tip of the foot key. The operation of the switch button becomes extremely smooth, and in particular, the momentary impact force caused by pressing the foot key is not applied immediately to the switch button, and this impact force is softened, so the switch button receives a large impact. No forces are applied and therefore defects such as those caused by a malfunctioning switch do not occur. That is,
The leaf spring that turns the switch on and off is
Since it is not directly fixed to the foot key and there is a gap between the leaf spring and the foot key, the instantaneous shock when the foot is pressed is not transmitted to the switch part, and therefore the switch operates smoothly.

However, it has gradually become clear that the foot keyboard device configured as shown in FIG. 1 is not perfect. In other words, when pressing pressure is applied to the foot key, this causes the leaf spring to bend, and after the switch button is pressed, when the pressing pressure suddenly disappears, the foot key returns to its original state, but the leaf spring flexes. Since the spring's pressing force is suddenly released, it tries to restore itself using its own repulsive restoring force. However, rather than simply restoring smoothly, the restriction on the leaf springs is suddenly removed, and the restoring stops in a damped manner while vibrating. Therefore, this vibration causes abnormal sounds, which not only causes abnormal sounds during performance, but also causes the vibration to be transmitted to other parts of the electronic instrument, making it impossible to perform well. It turns out that this happens.

However, there are many advantages to not fixing the leaf spring that operates the switch button to the foot key, so basically we should preserve this technical idea and create a structure that will prevent the leaf spring from causing vibration. Through repeated efforts, they have devised a foot keyboard device for electronic musical instruments that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks and allows for good performance.

Reference numeral 16 denotes a switch body, which is disposed at the lower part of the foot key 10. This switch body 16
For example, terminals 18 and 19 are installed in a hollow case body 17 that has a partial opening formed in the upper surface, and there is usually a hole above these terminals that contacts only the terminal 18, for example. For example, an elastic contact piece 20 having a substantially convex arc-shaped cross section is arranged so as not to touch the terminal 19, and the switch can be operated by actuating (pressing and deforming) the contact piece 20 on the upper side of this contact piece 20. For example, a convex-shaped switch button 21 is arranged as a movable piece that turns on and off, and the upper surface of the case body 17 and the upper surface of the switch button 21 are on almost the same plane. It's summery. As can be understood from FIG. 3, the case body 17 is made of a material that does not deform even if force is applied to the case body 17. When the switch button 21 is pressed, the contact piece 20 is deformed by the pressing force, and the terminals 18 and 19 are electrically connected.

Reference numeral 22 denotes a resilient member such as a leaf spring which is arranged so that there is a gap between the foot key 10 and the switch button 21. One end 22' is fixed to the plate and the tip 22" is a free end. When pressure is applied to the foot key 10 and the foot key 10 rotates, the tip 12 of the foot key 10 comes into contact with the tip 22" of the resilient member 22, and the resilient member 22 is gradually deflected.

Reference numeral 23 denotes a cushion material such as foamed rubber such as maltplane fixed to the lower surface of the elastic member 22, and the size of the cushion material 23 is such that the cushion material 2 is fixed to the lower surface of the elastic member 22.
The lower surface portion of the cushion material 23 is in such a position that the lower surface portion of the cushion material 23 is almost in contact with the upper surface of the case body 17, and the cushion material 23 itself is not subjected to any pressure. And cushion material 23
is provided at a position where it is always in contact with the upper surface of the case body 17. As can be understood from FIGS. 2 and 3, the cross-sectional dimension of the cushion material 23 is larger than the size of the opening partially formed in the upper surface of the case body 17.

As described above, by configuring the foot keyboard device of an electronic musical instrument, even if pressing pressure is applied to the foot key, there is a gap between the foot key and the elastic member, so that the instantaneous impact force of the pressing is suppressed. The effect is not transmitted to the repellent member, so the switch operates smoothly, and the performance of the electronic musical instrument is improved. Further, even when the resilient member is deflected by the rotation of the foot key and the deflection force is released thereafter, the resilient member is supported not only by the fixed portion but also by the cushion material. In other words, since it is supported in at least two places, there will be no vibration when it is restored by its own repulsive restoring force, and therefore no abnormal noise will be generated due to vibration of the resilient member during performance. , and this vibration is no longer transmitted to other parts of the electronic musical instrument, making it possible to perform extremely well. In addition, if such a cushion material is not provided, the impact force when the foot key hits the damper will be transmitted to other resilient members other than the resilient member corresponding to the stepped foot key. There is a possibility that the elastic member to which this impact force is transmitted also vibrates at the same time and generates a large noise, but by configuring it as in the present invention, this drawback is completely eliminated.

Furthermore, if the switch is configured so that the foot key is positioned approximately in the middle of its stroke, the performance of the electronic musical instrument will be extremely good and smooth. . for example,
The elastic member is arranged above the middle between the strokes of the foot key, and the elasticity of the spring constant is such that the elastic member and the cushion material generate a force that causes a switch when the foot key is located in the middle of the stroke. It would be extremely desirable if it were constructed from the things that it has.

Furthermore, if the cushion material is placed at the top of the switch body, the cushion material will undergo pressure deformation due to the deflection of the resilient member, and this will cause the switch to operate. It is extremely effective as it plays two roles: alleviating camera shake and operating the switch.

Note that the shape of the cushion material is not limited to the case shown in FIG. 2; for example, the cross section is approximately inverted concave, and the tip of the foot is in contact with the top surface of the plate 24 to which the switch body is attached. You may also leave it as is.

As described above, the foot keyboard device for an electronic musical instrument according to the present invention includes a rotatable foot key of an electronic musical instrument and a switch having a partial opening on one side located at a position corresponding to the foot key. inside the case, its operation is guided by this switch case to turn it on and off.
Between a switch provided with a movable piece that turns off, the foot key and the switch, one end on the foot key side is a free end, the other end on the opposite side is fixed, and is bent when abutted by rotation of the foot key. a cushion member provided on the elastic member and having a size larger than the opening of the switch case so as to be in constant contact with one surface in which the opening of the switch case is formed; The cushion material is deformed and pushed in through the opening of the switch case by the deflection of the elastic member due to the rotation of the foot key, and the movable piece is pushed in by the switch case due to the deformation and push of the cushion material. Since it is constructed so that it can be operated while being guided, the operation of the foot keys during the performance of the electronic musical instrument will not cause vibration vibrations in the elastic member, and therefore no abnormal sounds will be generated due to vibration vibrations. Be able to play electronic musical instruments well, and
Since the instantaneous impact force of stepping on the key is not transmitted to the switch, the switch operates smoothly. In particular, not only because the impact force is not transmitted to the switch, but also because the cushion material provided in the switch case is deformed and pushed into the opening. Since the size of the cushion member is smaller than that of the cushion material provided on the elastic member, an appropriate force is applied to the movable piece without making the force applied to the elastic member unnecessarily large, and the movable piece is It operates smoothly, and since the movable piece is guided by the switch case, there is no possibility that the direction of movement will go out of order, and the switch operates smoothly and accurately, making playing the electronic musical instrument even more enjoyable. In addition, since the switch is configured to operate by elastically deforming the cushion material, even if a large force is applied to the foot key, the force that will be applied to the switch will be alleviated by the cushion material, and the switch will be activated. Since it is also regulated by the case, no extra force is applied to the switch, making the switch less likely to break down, making it highly durable, and using a short stroke switch that is inexpensive. It has features such as being able to do things.
