Claims (1)
ウジングから成る装置本体と、この装置本体内部
に配設された現像ローラと、上部ハウジングにそ
の基端側が取付けられその先端側が上記現像ロー
ラの外周面に当接配置されてその外周面に現像剤
の薄層を形成すると共に現像剤を摩擦帯電する層
形成部材とを備え、上記現像剤を現像ローラから
潜像担持体側へ飛翔させて現像を行うと共に、上
記装置本体内部が少なくとも上記各ハウジング、
現像ローラ、及び層形成部材とで密閉されている
一成分系現像装置において、上記上部ハウジング
又は下部ハウジングにはその長さ方向に亘つて上
記層形成部材を取付けるための保持兼補強部材を
設け、かつ上記各ハウジングの嵌合部には装置本
体内部を密閉させるための密閉部材を配設すると
共に、この密閉部材の一部を通気性材料にて構成
したことを特徴とする現像装置。 (2) 上記通気性材料が、現像剤の粒径以下の連
続気泡径を有するウレタン系発泡体であることを
特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記載の
