て、Ａは繊維の断面形状を示し、ハツチングした
部分はその繊維の断面積Ｓ２を示す。Ｂは繊維断
面における先端突起部間を補助直線で結び、これ
らの補助直線と繊維の外周縁で囲まれた部分の面
積Ｓ１（ハツチングした部分）を示す。またＣは
防虫処理剤が繊維に付着した状態を示す。
１：先端突起部、２：補助直線、３：防虫処理
剤。
