排気マニホールドと、吸気ダクトを有し、該吸気
ダクトに前記排気マニホールド回りのホツトエア
ーを供給するホツトエアー供給通路が接続された
エアクリーナとを備え、上記ラジエータグリル後
方のエンジンルーム内で排気マニホールド前方に
上記ラジエータグリルからの走行風をエンジン本
体の下方へ導く導風用プレート部材が設けられ、
該プレート部材は車体のラジエータシユラウドパ
ネルにその各上部が前後に離れて取付けられたス
テー部材およびプレート部材から成り、該ステー
部材とプレート部材の両下端は接合されて後方へ
折曲されていることを特徴とする横置型エンジン
