With conventional hot water storage type electric water heaters that use late-night electricity, the electricity is turned on for a fixed amount of time in the middle of the night, so the capacity of the heating element can be adjusted to match the winter conditions when hot water consumption is high to keep water at around 8℃ during the electricity-on time. It is set to boil to about 85℃. For this reason, during the summer months when the amount of hot water used is low, more than half of the hot water often remains in the hot water storage tank. In this case, when the midnight power supply time arrives, power supply starts all at once, and the situation builds up in a short time. This not only led to a concentration of electrical loads and reduced power transmission efficiency, but also resulted in boiling water at an unnecessarily high temperature, resulting in a large waste of electricity.

This invention is based on the earlier patent application filed by the same applicant.
This relates to the improvement of No. 58-117951, in which each of a plurality of hot water storage type electric water heaters is equipped with a device that can preset the amount of hot water to be used on a regular or provisional basis, so as not to boil more water than necessary, The central control unit distributes the energized load so that it is evenly distributed.

The steady hot water amount setting device 12, 12' and the provisional hot water amount setting device 13, 13' are similar hot water amount setting devices, but the former is a device that constantly sets the amount of boiling water, and is generally used for comparison when taking a bath. In contrast, the latter is a device that is temporarily set when the amount of hot water used is much lower than the normal case, such as when not taking a bath, or when no hot water is used at all. If the hot water amount setting device 12, 12' is operating and you set the provisional hot water amount using the provisional hot water amount setting device 13, 13' in this state, the hot water will be boiled with the provisional hot water amount setting for one day only, and the next morning when boiling is completed. The provisional hot water amount setting is automatically canceled and the system returns to the steady hot water amount setting.

23 is a central control device, which has a supply water temperature detection means 1;
8. It is equipped with first to third calculation means 19, 20, 21, and a timer control device 22, and the water supply temperature detection means 18 detects the temperature of water supplied to the hot water storage tank 1, and The means 19 compares the detection value detected by the water supply temperature detection means 18 with the steady hot water amount setting device 12, 12' or the provisional hot water amount setting device 1.
The heat calories to be stored in each electric water heater 11, 11' are calculated from each set value in 3, 13'. Further, the second calculation means 20 calculates the value of each electric water heater 11, 11' from each value detected by each detection means.
Calculate the remaining hot water calories. Further, the third calculation means 21 calculates the required time for energizing each electric water heater 11, 11' from the difference in heat calories calculated by the first calculation means 19 and the second calculation means 20. .

Then, the timer control device 22 distributes the required energization time to each electric water heater 11, 11' determined by the third calculation means 21 so that the power load is averaged during the late-night power energization period. A signal is sent to the timer device 16, 16' of the electric water heater 11, 11', and the heating element 2,
2' is used to control the energization time.

Next, an example of the operation of the above-mentioned configuration will be specifically explained using formulas, taking the case of one of the electric water heaters 11 as an example. First, input the amount of hot water to be used on the next day using the constant hot water amount setting device 12 or temporary hot water amount setting device 13 of the electric water heater 11 as V() and the hot water temperature T 1
(°C), these input data are sent to the central controller 23. The central control device 23 receives the sent input data, the detected value t (°C) by the water supply temperature detecting means 18 immediately after the start of the late-night power supply period, and the detected value v by the remaining hot water amount detecting means 14.
(), and based on the detected value T 2 (°C) of the remaining hot water temperature detection means 15, the first calculation means 19 calculates K 1 = (T 1 − t)×V (Kcal), and Calculate the thermal calories K 1 of the amount of hot water that should be stored in the hot water storage tank 1 by the end of the electricity supply time.

また第二の演算手段20は、 K2=(T2−t)×v (Kcal) の演算を行い、貯湯タンク1内に残湯として残さ

Further, the second calculating means 20 calculates the thermal calorie K 2 of the amount of hot water remaining in the hot water storage tank 1 by calculating K 2 =(T 2 −t)×v (Kcal).

The third calculation means 21 calculates K 1 and K 2 calculated by the first calculation means 19 and the second calculation means 20.
Based on this, calculate H=K 1 − K 2 /860×W (hr), and calculate the required energization to each electric water heater from the net heat calorie to be applied, excluding the heat calorie K 2 for the remaining hot water. This is to calculate the time H (hr) (1KWH=860Kcal). Here, W represents the rated power consumption (KW) of the heating element 2. In this way, the required time for energizing the other electric water heater 11'
H′(hr) is also determined.

Then, the timer control device 22 controls each electric water heater 11, 1 determined by the third calculation means 21.
Required energization time H for the heating elements 2, 2' of 1',
H′ (hr) is the late-night power supply period (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the next morning)
The timer devices 16, 16' of the electric water heaters 11, 11' are appropriately distributed so that the electric power load is averaged at the time of the electric water heaters 11, 11', and a signal is sent to the timer devices 16, 16' of the electric water heaters 11, 11' to control the energization time to each heating element 2, 2'. For example, as in the example, 2
If each of the electric water heaters 11 and 11' can obtain the specified amount of electricity by turning on electricity for 3 hours, then one
By distributing power so that it is turned on from 11pm to 2am the next morning, and the other unit is turned on from 2am to 5am the next morning, power peaks can be kept as low as possible, which is effective for controlling condominiums and entire regions. .

As explained above, according to this invention,
Based on the set amount of hot water, amount of remaining hot water, and temperature of each of the multiple hot water storage type electric water heaters, the central controller calculates the required energization time for each electric water heater while taking into account the water supply temperature, and calculates the required energization time. Since the power load is distributed to each electric water heater in such a way that it is evenly distributed, the peak power load can be alleviated and power transmission efficiency can be improved. In addition, each electric water heater allows you to freely select and set the amount of hot water used on a regular basis and the amount of hot water used temporarily, which eliminates the need to boil more water than necessary, allowing fine-grained control and reducing electricity consumption. You can expect even more savings. Furthermore, since the central control unit is equipped with calculation means and water supply temperature detection means that are common to all electric water heaters, the configuration of each electric water heater can be simplified, reducing the number of parts and reducing costs. It has the effect of being able to provide
