Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily replace units by automatically displacing respective units such as a developing unit and a photosensitive drum to mutually separated positions in case of drawing out an image forming case unitedly mounting respective units from an image forming device body. CONSTITUTION:The developing unit 1, the photosensitive drum 2 and a cleaning unit 3 are mounted on the image forming case 4, set up on a positioning plate 8 by positioning pins 5, 7 and a bearing bos 6 and the plate 8 is pressed by a pressing plate 11 and a lever 13 to fix these units. In case of replacing the units in the image forming device setting up the united image forming case, the case 4 is drawn out from the body and then the lever 13 of the plate 11 is removed from the plate 8. At that time, the units 1, 3 are rotated around the pins 5, 7 on the bottom of the case 4 to the outside by springs 21, 22 and separated from the drum 2. Thereby, respective units can be easily replaced.

Background ArtWith the spread of electrostatic recording devices such as electrophotographic copying machines and facsimiles1 and static printers1, recently, toner replenishment has become a necessity.
Recording devices in which everything from the photoreceptor to the cleaning unit can be replaced manually are beginning to appear on the market. Particularly in printers, there is a strong demand for such operations to be easily performed even by general users. Therefore, conventionally, photoreceptors, developing devices, cleaning units,
A method has been adopted in which an image forming unit consisting of a charger etc. is integrated and the image forming unit is replaced after a preset period of time, but in this case, the parts cost per replacement is reduced. This is expensive and puts a heavy burden on the user, and since the lifespan of each photoconductor varies depending on the replenishment interval and the lifespan of the cleaning unit, even if the photoconductor is still usable, it must be disposed of at the same time as the lifespan of other items. Therefore, there was a disadvantage that there was a lot of waste and the cost per print was high.

そこで、作像ユニットを構成する各ユニット毎に交換サ

Therefore, machines have also been commercialized in which a replacement cycle is set for each unit constituting the image forming unit, and each unit is replaced separately.

However, this method poses a problem in terms of workability when the user performs replacement. In particular, when replacing the photoconductor, the surface of the photoconductor is not very tough, so touching the surface or rubbing against other parts when setting it in the machine may leave fingerprints or scratches on the photoconductor surface. This may cause performance deterioration. Furthermore, when replacing the developing unit or cleaning/cleaning unit, toner often spills.

Therefore, in order to improve the work efficiency of replacement, each unit such as the photoconductor tram, developing knee unit, cleaning unit, etc. is set in one imaging case and integrated into the main body of the device, and when replacing a certain unit, Devices have appeared in which the imaging case is pulled out from the main body of the device and the unit is replaced. There is a concern that the print quality may deteriorate afterward.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a next image forming device to which the present invention is applied,
A developing unit 1, a photosensitive drum 21, and a cleaning unit 3 are set in one case 4, and setting into the main body of the apparatus is carried out by attaching these units and the case 4 as one body to the main body of the apparatus. Each of the above units 1 and 3.degree. 2 is positioned by fitting the positioning pin 5.7 and the boss portion 6 of the bearing into the four U-shaped portions of a positioning plate 8 attached to the front end of the case 4 with screws 9.

As shown in FIG.
t and 22 are attached, and the developing unit 1 and cleaning unit 3 are each urged by the force of a spring 21.22 to rotate about a pin 5.7 so that the photoreceptor side rises upward. . Presser plate 1 shown in Fig. 1

A holding plate 11 is attached to rotate around this screw 10, and when setting it on the main body, hold the lever 12 provided near the right end of the holding plate 11 and push down each positioning pin 5.7. Therefore, the bent tf part 11a is used for cleaning) 3 and the receiver of the developing unit 1 come into contact with the parts 3a and 12, and press them down. 1 Set each unit in a predetermined position, and attach a pin to the left end of the holding plate 11. When replacing the unit, pull out the case 4 from the main body of the apparatus, unlatching the stopper 13 from the positioning plate 8, and the force of the springs 21 and 22 will rotate the developing unit 1 and cleaning unit 3 so that the photoconductor side rises. , the distance between the developing unit 1, the photoconductor 2, and the photoconductor 2 increases.
When replacing one of the cleaning units 3, it can be easily attached and detached without contacting adjacent units, and it can prevent scratches and fingerprints due to contact and toner ζ spillage unless the presser plate 11 is removed. Since each unit cannot be removed, removal without separating each unit is reliably prevented.

As described above, according to the present invention, simply by removing the units from the stoppers, the intervals between the units are automatically widened compared to when they are at the predetermined set positions, making unit replacement easier and preventing scratches or fingerprints on the photoreceptor. Also, toner spillage from the developing unit and cleaning unit is prevented.
