周部を半径が次第に大きくなる渦巻状に囲つてお
り、またケーシング22の底板には下方からその
底板を貫通してフアン24を駆動するモータ26
が取付けられており、さらにケーシング22の前
面はベルマウス形の開口38を有するベルマウス
吸い込み口プレート28でその開口38をフアン
24と同心円的に位置せしめて蓋されている。ベ
ルマウス吸い込み口プレート28の上にはケーシ
ングの外径よりやや小さ目の外径をもつ通路10
を設けており、上流側にあたるこの通路10は車
外に通じている。また渦巻状のケーシングの出口
にあたる開口はもう一方の下流側の開口10に連
なり車室内に通じている。
