(Prior art) In conventional general washing machines, the water level in the washing tub during the washing process is the same as the water level during the rinsing process, and the user adjusts the water level according to the amount of laundry. I had selected. Recently, washing machines have been equipped with a water level detection means in the washing tub and a cloth amount detection means for detecting the weight of the laundry, and washing or rinsing is carried out at a water level corresponding to the amount of cloth detected by the laundry amount detection means. Some washing machines are equipped with sensors that do this, but even in this case, the user selects the water level during the washing process, and then selects the water level during the subsequent rinsing process if the previously selected water level is higher than the amount of cloth. The purpose was to conserve water by correcting the water level to an appropriate level.

Specifically, when washing extremely dirty items such as jeans, work clothes, children's clothes with mud stains, etc., even though the amount of laundry is small, do not wash them at the same time as other items. I do the washing alone. In this case, since the amount of laundry is small, the water level in the washing tank 1aI is selected to be low, and a strong water flow is selected to ensure that the dirt is removed from the laundry, but during the rinsing process, Since the water level is low and the amount of water is small, the rinsing performance deteriorates, resulting in the inconvenience that the detergent adhering to the laundry cannot be removed sufficiently.

On the other hand, if the water level during the washing process is set high in consideration of rinsing performance, the movement of the cloth will be slower than when the water level is low, resulting in the inconvenience that dirt will not be removed sufficiently during the washing process. .

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the conventional problems seen above, the present invention sets the water level during the washing process to a low water level near the bottom, and sets the water level during the rinsing process to a low water level during the washing process. It is raised above the water level.

(Function) As described in -, during the washing process, washing is performed at a low water level to increase the washing power, and during the rinsing process, rinsing is performed at a higher water level than during washing to ensure the rinsing performance, thereby increasing the washing time. This shortens the time and reduces power consumption.

The water supply valve is opened by the control means (4) to supply water into the washing tub, the water level is detected by the water level detection means (1), and the output from the water level detection means (1) is used as the water level discrimination means (2).
When the means (2) generates an output indicating that the water level has reached a predetermined level, the water supply is stopped by operating the water supply valve driving means (5), and at the same time, the pulsator driving means (G) is activated. When activated, the pulsator rotates and enters the cleaning process. Also, during the rinsing process, water is supplied under the same control as during washing, and the water level determination means (2)
When it is determined that the water level has reached a predetermined level higher than that during washing, the water supply valve driving means (5) closes the water supply valve, and the pulsator driving means (6) rotates the pulsator to perform rinsing.

FIG. 2 is a circuit diagram showing the specific configuration of this embodiment, and (7) in the figure is a washing tub, at the inner bottom of which there is a pulsator which is rotated and stopped by a pulsator drive means (6). (8) is provided. Water level detection means (1) 2.
It consists of a pipe (9) that connects to the bottom of the washing tub (7), and a small number of detectors (IO) that perform detection in two or more N stages. Also, (1+) is a microcomputer. The built-in program determines the water level and generates signals to drive the water supply valve (+2) and pulsator (8).Specifically, it uses a storage section (+3) that stores water level data, etc. ), the water level detector (1G)
an input section (+4) that inputs the output etc. from the input section, an output section (+5) that outputs control signals to the water supply valve driving means (5) and the pulsator driving means (6), and an arithmetic control section that performs data comparison calculations, etc. (16).

- Generally, users should store 1M laundry (17) in the laundry cabinet (7).
At the same time, detergent is added and the washing start switch (18) is pressed down. This allows the microcomputer (11
) opens the water supply valve (12) via the water supply valve driving means (5) to start water supply in step (101). On the other hand, when it is detected in step (102) that water supply has been completed to a preset low water level based on the output from the detector (II) serving as the water level detection means (1), the current water level is stored in the storage section ( 13), and the water supply valve driving means (
5) and close the water supply valve (12) in step (103). Next, in step (104), the microcomputer (11) rotates the pulsator (8) via the pulsator drive means (6) to perform cleaning at a low set water level.
Thereafter, drainage and dehydration are performed in steps (105) (10B). Next, in step (+07), the water supply valve (12) is opened via the water supply valve driving means (5) for the rinsing process.
7) Start supplying water inside. And step (108)
When the water level detector (11) detects the completion of water supply to the Nth water level higher than the low water level set during cleaning, the water supply valve driving means (5) starts water supply in step (+09). After closing the valve (12), the microcomputer (II) rotates the pulsator (8) by the pulsator drive means (6) in step (110) to perform the rinsing process.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, the washing machine of the present invention lowers the water level of the washing tub during the washing process to enhance its cleaning power, and secures rinsing performance by increasing the water level during the rinsing process. In particular, it is possible to perform washing suitable for heavily soiled laundry, and as a result, washing time can be shortened, and water and electricity costs can be saved.

Also, every time the water level in the washing tub is changed to at least two or more levels using the water level changeover switch (even if this is the case, washing is performed at a low water level near the bottom of the washing tub during the washing process, as shown in Figure 4). During the rinsing process, the same effect can be obtained by performing the rinsing process at a water level selected by the user using a water level selector switch.
