A conventional heat pipe type solar water heater was constructed as shown in FIG. That is, 1 is a heat collector main body, 2 is a hot water storage tank located above the heat collector main body 1, and 3 is a plurality of heat pipes, and the evaporation part 3a of this heat pipe 3 is connected to the heat collector main body. 1, and the condensing section 3b is disposed within the hot water storage tank 2. Reference numeral 4 denotes a heat collecting plate pressed onto the evaporation section 3a of the heat pipe 3. Further, the heat pipe 3 is fixed to the hot water storage tank 2 by tightening screws 6 through packing 5, thereby preventing water in the hot water storage tank 2 from leaking to the outside.

According to the present invention, with the above configuration, the outer surface of the condensing part of the heat pipe disposed inside the hot water storage tank is subjected to rust prevention treatment, and the evaporating part of the heat pipe is connected to the outside of the hot water storage tank. This eliminates the problem of corrosion of the condensing part of the heat pipe even when used in areas with poor water quality, and since the condensing part is fixed to the hot water storage tank, it will not break at the connection point between the evaporating part and the condensing part. Moreover, the opening at the tip of the condensing section is reliably sealed with a pinch seal, and as a result, the original heat collection efficiency can be maintained over a long period of time.

FIG. 3 shows a cross-sectional view taken along the line X--X in FIG. It is attached to the board 9. Further, a glass body 10 that transmits sunlight is disposed on the upper surface of the heat collector body 1. The upper part of the evaporation part 3a of the heat pipe 3 is connected to the hot water storage tank 2.
This penetrating portion is sealed by packing 5. Further, the other end of the heat pipe 3 faces into the hot water storage tank 2 as a condensing portion 3b, and is immersed in the water 11 of the hot water storage tank 2. Reference numeral 12 denotes an outer cover disposed on the outside of the hot water storage tank 2 with a heat insulating material 13 interposed therebetween.
14 is a plurality of heat collecting fins having an L-shaped cross section;
The relationship between the heat collecting fins 14 and the heat pipes 3 is such that they are perpendicular to each other, as shown in FIG. It penetrates the vertical portions 14a of a plurality of heat collecting fins 14 having a letter shape, and is fixed integrally with each heat collecting fin 14 one by one. Reference numeral 15 denotes a working fluid sealed in the heat pipe 3, and this working fluid 15 usually fills about 10 to 25% of the internal volume of each heat pipe 3.

FIG. 5 is an enlarged sectional view showing the relationship between the condensing part 3b and the evaporating part 3a of the heat pipe 3. , Rust prevention treatment such as plating and painting has been applied. Before connecting the two parts 3b and 3a, the outer surface of the condensing part 3b is
Rust prevention treatments such as plating and painting are applied. The condensing section 3b and the evaporating section 3a are connected to the hot water storage tank 2.
This is done by brazing externally. Normally, areas where brazing etc. are applied are likely to corrode, but the area around them does not come in contact with the water 11 in the hot water storage tank 2, so
There are no particular negative effects. Further, a pinch seal 16 is attached in advance to the tip opening of the condensing portion 3b by brazing. There is a pinch seal 16 at the tip opening of the condensing part 3b, and this pinch seal 16
Use to vacuum the heat pipe 3 and remove the working fluid 1.
5 is injected, and finally the small diameter portion of the pinch seal 16 is crimped and sealed by brazing or the like. 1
Reference numeral 7 denotes a cap attached to the tip opening of the condensing part 3b. This cap 17 protects the anti-rust coating applied to the outer surface of the pinch seal 16 from being corroded. The material of this cap 17 is Any material that is not eroded by water, such as synthetic resin, and can maintain airtightness may be used. Further, the heat pipe and the hot water storage tank are securely fixed and watertight via a gasket 5 at a condensing section 3b which has a larger diameter and sufficient strength than the normal evaporating section.

The operation in the above configuration will be explained. The sunlight transmitted through the glass body 10 boils the working fluid 15 sealed in the heat pipe to generate steam. This steam is then transferred to the condensing section 3 of the heat pipe 3.
b, and is cooled and condensed in the condensing section 3b, thereby transferring heat to the water 11 in the hot water storage tank 2 and warming the water 11. The working fluid 15 liquefied by condensation flows down inside the heat pipe 3 and returns to the evaporator 3a, where it evaporates again and repeats the above-described operation.

As described above, according to the present invention, the evaporation section and the condensation section of the heat pipe are constructed as separate parts, and the outer surface of the condensation section is subjected to rust prevention treatment, and the evaporation section and the condensation section are connected to each other outside the hot water storage tank. The condensing part is connected and the hot water storage tank is fixed to the outer periphery of the condensing part, which is closer to the condensing part than the connection point between the evaporating part and the condensing part, so the heat pipe does not break and can be used in areas with poor water quality. Even when used, the problem of corrosion of the condensing part of the heat pipe that comes into contact with the water in the hot water storage tank is eliminated, and as a result, the original heat collection efficiency can be maintained over a long period of time.
