As shown in FIG. 1, in a conventional rain gutter, a metal core material 6 is inserted into a rain gutter body 1 made of synthetic resin, and a metal core material 6 is also inserted in the protruding part 3 of the ear part 2 of the rain gutter body 1. The ear part 2 is reinforced with a metal core material 4 to prevent thermal deformation of the ear part 2. However, when manufacturing this rain gutter, it is necessary to insert the curved metal core material 6 also into the protruding part 3 of the ear part 2, so it is difficult to roll form the metal core material 6 or to insert the curved metal core material 6 into the protrusion part 3 of the ear part 2. The drawback was that rolls and the like were required and the molding process was time-consuming.

That is, in the present invention, a metal core material 4 is inserted into a rain gutter body 1 made of synthetic resin except for the protruding portion 3 of the ear portion 2, and a thick wall portion 5 is formed in the metal core material 4 over the entire length. The above objective is achieved by forming a thick part of the metal core material in the weaker part of the rain gutter.

The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to Examples. As shown in FIG. 2, a metal core material 4 is inserted into a rain gutter body 1 made of synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride resin. Thick wall portions 5, 5 which are thicker than the center portion are formed at both ends in the width direction of the metal core material 4, and the thick wall portions 5 are located at the ears 2 of the rain gutter body 1. , for reinforcing the ear portion 2. As shown in FIG. 3a, the metal core material 4 may be formed by rolling the center part of a long plate material to form thick parts 5, 5 at both ends in the width direction. As shown in FIG. 3b, the thick portions 5, 5 may be formed by folding back both ends in the width direction of a long plate. In the case shown in FIG. 3a, when the thickness of the central portion is approximately 0.14 mm, the thickness of the thick portion 5 is approximately 0.2 mm, and the thick portions 5 at both ends, In addition to the high strength of No. 5, the strength of the central portion is also improved due to rolling.

However, when manufacturing a rain gutter as shown in Fig. 2, it is manufactured by coating the entire front and back surfaces of the metal core material 4 with synthetic resin by extrusion molding or the like. In the ear part 2 of the rain gutter main body 1, there is no need to insert the metal core material 4 into the protrusion part 3 of the ear part 2, and roll forming of the metal core material 4 etc. is unnecessary. The metal core material 4 only needs to have a short width, which allows processing and material costs to be reduced. In the molded rain gutter shown in FIG. 2, the ear part 2 is reinforced with the thick part 5 of the metal core material 4, so that thermal deformation of the ear part 2 can be prevented. be. In addition, the thick part 5 of the metal core material 4 may be formed in the center part as shown in FIG. 4, and in this way, the center part is reinforced and the width of the rain gutter is prevented from expanding. It is something that can be done. In addition, as shown in Figure 5, the rain gutter body 1 of the square gutter
A metal core material 4 may be inserted inside.

As mentioned above, in this invention, the metal core material is inserted into the synthetic resin rain gutter body except for the protruding parts of the ears. It is easy to form as there is no need for bending and bending, and since the thick part of the metal core material is formed over the entire length of the gutter body at least near the ears, the thick part of the metal core material can be easily formed. It can strengthen the ears of rain gutters and prevent them from deforming due to heat. Moreover, since there is no need for a metal core to be inserted into the protruding part of the ears, a metal core with a short width can be used, reducing material costs. In addition, there is no need for folding processing after molding.
