および圧着継手法等が広く知られているが、何れ
も専用の設備、或いは特殊な工具等を必要とし、
またハンドリング技術上の制約がある。

は鋼棒の中心からほぼ同一距離r1にある形状に
し、前記ネジフシは鋼棒の軸方向に亘つて延在
し、雌ネジに螺合することを特徴とする正多角形
を基形部とするコンクリート補強用ネジフシ鋼棒
である。鋼棒基形部の中心に対して相対する基形
部面即ちb図の対向する面は平行な平面でフシの
無い二面3,3′にスパナを掛けることが出来る
ため2本の鋼棒をカプラージヨイントに螺合締付
ける工事が容易となる。また本考案によれば正多
角形の各辺においてネジフシの高さをほぼ欠円に
形成したので基形部の外周面積が増加しコンクリ
ートに対する付着性を強化すると共に捩れと回転
を防止する効果がある。更に鋼棒の曲げ性に関し
ても基形断面が真円でない楕円形のネジフシ鋼棒
に比較すると本考案による正多角形型鋼棒は何れ
の方向に対しても平均して曲げ力がほぼ同様で現
場における曲げ工事も容易となる。なお本考案に
おいて鋼棒の断面を6乃至12の偶数多角形に限定
した理由は6多角形以下では鋼棒の曲げ作業時に
方向性が出る欠点が現われるため、また12多角形
以上ではスパナ掛けが困難となるためで実用上正
8多角形が最も望ましい。
