Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable one operator to remove an ingot gently from a casting mold and to improve working efficiency by constituting a casting device in such a manner that the casting mold with a cap held closed is opened after the casting mold subjected to pouring and solidifying of a molten metal is held capped and is turned. CONSTITUTION:The casting mold 1 is held horizontal and molten metal is poured therein. The cap 3 is closed after cooling and solidifying of the molten metal and a chain 6 is inserted to a hook 5 to fix the cap 3. A motor is started to turn an imposing plate 2 in an arrow A direction. The ingot 9 is removed from the mold 1 and is supported by a sleeper of a moving base 4 when the mold l tilts >=90 deg.. A roller 7 of the cap 3 is supported by a guide plate 8 when the plate 2 rotates by about half turn. The chain 6 is removed from the hook 5 and the motor is run backward. The plate 2 is then turned in an arrow B direction and the cap 3 which imposes the ingot on the moving bed 4 on the rear face thereof is opened in the horizontal state and is pushed out by connectors 15, 16. The roller 7 rolls on the plate 8 and the motor is stopped when the roller moves in an arrow C direction. The bed 4 is then removed from the cap 3 and is hoisted by a crane, etc., then the ensuing stage is started.

<Prior art and its problems> Conventionally, when casting silver ingots weighing about 30 kg, for example, molten metal was poured into a mold, cooled and solidified, and then several workers gently tilted the molds one by one. The ingot is then taken out, cooled in water, and then subjected to surface polishing and other processing.

However, since this method requires manual handling of heavy objects, it not only has low work efficiency but also easily causes injuries to the wrists and lower back, posing health and safety problems. Furthermore, since noble metals such as silver have low hardness, their surfaces are easily scratched, and it is also necessary to prevent impurities from entering or adhering to them, making it difficult to mechanize this casting process.

<Means for Solving the Problems> An object of the present invention is to provide a casting apparatus for solving the above-mentioned problems. After the mold has solidified, tilt the mold with the lid on, gently pull out the ingot onto the lid, and shift the mold while keeping the open lid horizontal. The upper ingot can be taken out using a crane, etc. One embodiment will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1.2 are a plan view and a front view of the device of the present invention with the lid removed, and FIG. 3 is a side view with the lid attached. A mounting plate 2 with horizontal shafts 11 provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction is mounted on a pedestal 13.
It is pivotally supported by a pair of bearings 12 attached to the top of the shaft 14, and is rotatable around a shaft 11 by a motor 10.

The total length of this moving platform 4 is approximately equal to the length in the longitudinal direction of M3, and two parallel sleepers 4a are fixed to the upper surface.
The intervals between the sleepers 4a are slightly smaller than the total length of the ingot. In addition, instead of the moving platform 4, the sleeper 4a can be directly connected to M3.
It may be attached to the back side of the Furthermore, a hook 5 is fixed to the center of the other end of the back surface of the lid 3, into which a chino 6 disposed at an opposing position on the mounting table 2 can be inserted.

A roller 7 is disposed on the surface of the lid 3 so as to protrude from the back side of the hook 5, and when the lid 3 is opened, the lid 3 can move horizontally on a guide plate 8 provided on the pedestal 13. It has become. Next, the operation of this device will be explained. First, as shown in FIG. 3, the mold 1 is held horizontally, and molten metal is sequentially poured into the mold from a ladle (not shown) to a desired level. At this time, the closer the mold is to the upper surface, the less impact there will be when the mold comes off during tilting. When the molten metal is cooled and solidified, the lid 3 is closed and a chino 6 is inserted into the hook 5 to fix the lid 3 as shown in FIG. Next, start the motor 10 and move the mounting plate 2 to the arrow A.
Rotate in the direction of. When the mold 2 is tilted by 90 degrees or more, the ingot 9 comes off from the mold 1 and is supported by the railroad ties 4a of the movable table 4. When the mounting plate 2 rotates about half a turn as shown in FIG. 5, the M3 roller 7 comes into contact with the guide plate 8 and is supported.

Then, when the chino 6 is removed from the hook 5 and the motor 10 is reversed, the mounting plate 2 rotates in the direction of arrow B in FIG. Then, the lid 3 opens horizontally with the ingot placed on the moving table 4 on the back side, and is pushed out by the connectors 15 and 16, and the roller 7 moves on the guide plate 8 and moves in the direction of arrow C. Stop the motor 10. In this state, the moving table 4 is removed from the lid 3, lifted up by a crane or the like (not shown), and transferred to the next process. Further, if there is no moving table 4, the ingot may be directly lifted.

<Effects of the Invention> As mentioned above, this invention uses a device that pours molten metal into the mold, turns the mold with the lid on after solidification, and then opens the mold with the lid held horizontally. It can be gently removed from the mold without causing any impact. Therefore, even soft ingots will not have scratches on their surface.
