Claims

In a cartridge that is equipped with a positioning hole that fits with a positioning pin that determines the position of the cartridge provided in a recording and reproducing device, and that allows recording and reproducing operations with a disk stored inside, the inner wall surface of the cartridge that faces the recording surface of the disk. A cartridge according to claim 1, further comprising: an elastic member disposed inside said cartridge, and a floating means operated within said cartridge so as to move said pressing member away from said recording surface of said disk by said positioning pin.
