Conventional configurations and their problems In general, floor heating is radiant heating, so it is said to be one of the ideal heating methods that does not require extremely high room temperature and does not cause much variation in temperature distribution. However, the actual situation is that the heating capacity is insufficient and the temperature rises very slowly.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages of floor heating, convection heating and floor heating have been used together. However, when a normal convection type heater is used together with floor heating, Temperature differences and draft effects caused by hot air from convection heaters create discomfort, which negates the benefits of underfloor heating.

FIG. 1 shows the indoor vertical temperature distribution according to each heating method: floor heating A, convection heating B, and combination heating C. In the case of floor heating A, the temperature distribution is almost uniform except near the floor and ceiling surfaces, but when the floor temperature is set to 30°C in consideration of human contact, the rise in room temperature is small. In the case of convection heating B, the area near the floor is cold and the area near the ceiling is very warm, resulting in a large temperature difference between the top and bottom. In the case of heating C, which combines floor heating and convection heating, there is no temperature drop near the floor surface as seen in B, but the temperature near the ceiling similarly becomes considerably high. In this case, in order to make the temperature distribution uniform, it is possible to increase the hot air blowing speed of the convection heater, but this increases the draft area within the heated area, which may result in increased discomfort. I was getting used to it.

In the above configuration, since the warm air blowing floor surface 2 is arranged around the electric carpet 1,
In the living area on the electric carpet 1, the start-up of the floor heating is accelerated without creating a draft due to warm air, and the lack of capacity is resolved. Moreover, the effect of energy saving is also produced due to the action of the air curtain created by the warm air blown from the hot air blowing floor surface 2.

That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the control characteristic is that when the room temperature is high, the floor surface temperature is low, and when the floor surface temperature is high, the room temperature is low. Furthermore, this control method can prevent excessive input of heat into the heated area, thereby making it possible to make the vertical room temperature distribution on the electric carpet uniform.
