Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an efficient dust sucking process to be carried out by forming a bowl-shaped recess in the central area on the surface of the dust sucking sander in the caption, drilling a hole for attachment in its center and a plurality of hole around said attachment hole and also forming grooves toward the circumference from the recess. CONSTITUTION:Even through a polishing member 1 is used in a polishing work with an approximate slant angle staying in a range form 15 to 35 degree so that the sharpest circumferential portion of the sander can be used for polishing, for instance, paint film on the shell plate of an automobile, dust generated in the polishing work is forcibly led inward successively as if it is scooped in a recess 4 through grooves 8 formed slantly in the rotational direction and serving as its passage. Therefore, any delay of collection of polishing dust can be eliminated. Namely, the action of dust correction peculiar to this sander can aid the suction of an air intake device to immediately remove dust from a surface to be polished. This performance may reduce the chance of choking, generation of heat, accordingly eliminate any intertwined state of dust, thus enabling the dust sucking to be carried out efficiently.

``Prior Art'' Conventionally, polishing work has been carried out in a wide range of fields, such as processing and finishing wood products, finishing the surface of concrete walls, removing rust from metals, removing paint films, and others. However, the dust generated during this polishing work is a common problem in all industries.
Dust is extremely inconvenient for workers, and various methods are used to collect and protect the dust.

Here, for example, a sander with a circular pad tail attached to paper or cloth-based paper is used for polishing work such as repairing dents on cars and painting. Putty sanders and sanders with feet that collect the dust generated during work are often used as convenient tools. However, these only have holes scattered on the paper surface for collecting dust. Therefore, suction cannot be performed unless it is brought into flat contact with the outer plate, which is extremely inefficient. Also, to remove the paint film, tilt the sander approximately 15 to 35 degrees.

It is most efficient to do this at the circumferential part where it can be cut the most; if you use the paper surface flat against a hard paint film, it will heat up, cause tangles, and cause distortion to the thin outer panel. Furthermore, the shape of the dents caused by accidents is complicated, and with paper made of relatively soft paper or cloth, the abrasive grains cannot withstand heavy use, causing particles to fall off, protrusions torn off, or It floats up. Furthermore, with the spread of sheet metal putty, areas that have been repaired are often coated with thick sheet metal putty, so in order to remove the paint film, a dust vacuum cleaner that can grind both the paint film and the sheet metal putty is required. Must be Thunder. However, the conventionally used dust-absorbing sanders for putty polishing and foot-mounted sanders cannot be used for the purpose of removing hard paint films. was expected to appear. Therefore, there is a need for a new abrasive material for dust-collecting sanders that is suitable for removing paint films.

"Problems to be Solved by the Invention" The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is possible to apply the hard paint film and base putty of automobile outer panels with many rounded surfaces using the circumferential part. Maintains abrasive power, is strong and does not fall off, and
To provide an abrasive material for a dust-collecting sander, which allows the rotation of the abrasive material to assist in dust-collecting power, achieves efficient dust collection, and can be used for abrasive work other than paint film peeling.

The abrasive material 1 has a circular shape, and is formed entirely by a grindstone (not shown), or abrasive grains 3 are placed on a base material 2 made of resin or fibers.
A bowl-shaped recess 4 is formed in the center of the surface, and in the center of the recess 4 is a circular hole 6 for attaching to a dust suction sander 5, and around it is a hole for dust suction. It is made by drilling a number of holes. Furthermore, grooves 8 are provided radially from the recessed portion 4 toward the outer periphery, either curved in the direction of rotation indicated by arrow R or inclined linearly. In addition, when the abrasive material 1 is a grindstone, it is worn away from the surroundings, but when the base material 2 is made of resin or fiber other than the grindstone, a circular shape is used to separate the surroundings when the abrasive power decreases. , or an arbitrary number of polygonal or petal-shaped perforations 9 with different diameters are carved on the base material 2, and a transparent film is applied so that the perforations 9 can be easily seen from the back side. or attach a resin film 10 such as epoxy resin,
It can be applied to the entire back surface or a part of it, or it can be reinforced along the bending line A. In addition, compression-molded fibers become deformed and softened due to humidity when stored for a long period of time. To prevent this, it is preferable to hack the entire back surface with a fat film 10, and this coating also compensates for the lack of strength caused by providing the perforations 9.

Note that if there is no problem in terms of strength, this resin film 10 may not be necessary. In that case, it is of course possible to apply another solvent that can be isolated from the outside air in order to prevent deformation, warping, or softening due to moisture.

``Function'' The function of the present invention having the above-mentioned configuration will be explained. Screw] 2
When the starter switch 13 is operated, the motor 14 is operated, and this operation rotates the abrasive material 1 via the rotating shaft 11. At this time, the abrasive material 1 is placed in a dust suction sander 5 so that the paint film on the outer panel of the automobile (not shown) can be polished at the most sharp circumferential part.
Even if the abrasive material 1 is polished at an angle of approximately 15 to 35 degrees with the hand part slightly raised, the ground dust will be removed radially from the concave grooves 8 that are inclined in the direction of rotation. The particles are forcibly introduced inward one after another into the recessed portion 4 as if scooped into the concave portion 4 as a passage. Therefore, there is no delay in collection of ground dust.

That is, the rotated concave groove 8 imparts rotation to the air, artificially generates a tornado, gives a twist to the dust, and in addition to operating the air intake device 15, causes the dust to rotate and flow into the concave portion 4. A dust collector (not shown) passes through the covered dust collection cover 18 through the hole 7 of the introduced and drilled hole 7, passes through the covered dust collection cover 18, enters the opening 19, and is connected by a dust collection hose 20. It is stored in the bag. Furthermore, the perforations 9 carved into the base material 2 of the abrasive material 10 are provided in order to restore new sharpness when the surrounding abrasive power has decreased.
In the figure, when the periphery is worn, the first circumferential portion 21 is cut away from the perforation 9 to expose the second circumferential portion 22, which is then polished. In other words, the grinding force is restored.

Furthermore, this abrasive material does not have the same problem even when used on a flat surface like a conventional dust suction sander; in fact, when it comes into contact with the surface to be polished flat, its dust suction power is better than that of conventional dust suction sanders. It is much better than that.

"Effects of the Invention" The abrasive material of the present invention, which has the structure and function described above, has its own dust-collecting action that assists the suction of the suction device and immediately removes dust from the surface to be polished, which reduces clogging. , suppresses heat generation, eliminates tangles, and achieves efficient dust collection.

In addition, since the set screw is used to securely fasten the product, there is no need to worry about it falling off, so you can work with peace of mind. In addition, it can be easily shaped with a grindstone, and in addition, abrasive materials that use a base material to collect dust can be used to restore the grinding power, whereas up until now, it has been discarded once the surrounding area wears out or tangles occur. Its practical effects are tremendous, as it can be used many times with one piece of abrasive material.
