Claims (1)
- 現像器内の現像剤の有無を検出するセンサと、
該センサ出力を所定時間毎にサンプリングするサ
ンプリング回路と、該サンプリング回路のサンプ
リング回数を所定数計数する第１のカウンタと、
前記第１のカウンタが所定数計数する期間中前記
センサの現像剤無し又は現像剤有りの出力回数を
計数する第２のカウンタと、前記第１のカウンタ
が所定数計数する第１の期間中計数された前記第
２のカウンタの計数値を記憶する記憶回路と、該
記憶回路に記憶された記憶値と、前記第１のカウ
ンタが所定数計数する第２の期間中計数された前
記第２のカウンタの計数記憶値との大小を判別す
る判別回路からなることを特徴とする現像剤残量
検知装置。
