As shown in FIG. 5, the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 has a front plate 10a along the back surface of the bumper body 4 and a side plate 10b extending substantially perpendicularly to the back surface, and has a substantially L-shaped cross section. Attachment holes 11 and 12 are formed on the upper and lower sides of one side, and a bifurcated clamping piece 13 is integrally formed in the middle part thereof.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10
The front plate 10a is connected to the first and second strips 14,
15, and the forked clamping piece 13 is placed astride the first
After engaging the strip 14, the mounting screws 17, 18
are screwed to the top and bottom of the back surface of the bumper body 4 through the mounting holes 11 and 12.
can be fixed to the bumper body 4. The front plate 10a shields the second air intake port 6, and the side plate 10b extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 1 on the outside of the edge on the center side of the vehicle body between the first air intake port 5 and the radiator 8. It is arranged near the other end of the radiator 8. Therefore, when the car is running, most of the cooling air that enters the first air intake port 5 is guided by the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 and flows in a straight line to the radiator 8.
After passing through, it hits the engine body 7 and cools the engine body 7 appropriately. Therefore, the cooling air that is about to enter the engine room 2 through the air intake port 5 passes through the side of the radiator 8 and directly hits the engine body 7, which means that the cooling air that is trying to enter the engine room 2 through the air intake port 5 passes through the side of the radiator 8 and directly hits the engine body 7. A wall 2a and a wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 whose rear end is close to the other end of the radiator 8
This is effective in preventing overcooling of the engine body 7.

Also, there is a cooling system in the car, that is, a condenser 9.
As shown in FIG. 6, the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 is arranged so that its front plate 10a straddles the second and third strips 15 and 16, and has a forked clamping piece. 13 is engaged with the second strip 15, the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 is fixed to the back surface of the bumper body 4 using the mounting screws 17 and 18 as in the case described above, and the rear end of the plate 10 is connected to the capacitor. Connect it to the other end of 9.

As mentioned above, in a device equipped with a cooling device, the first and second air intake ports 5 and 6 are both open and face the front surface of the condenser 9, and the air guiding/reinforcing plate 10
The side plate 10b extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 1 between the second air intake port 6 and the condenser 9 on the outside of the edge on the center side of the vehicle body. However, in this case, cooling air flows through the first and second air intake ports 5 and 6 due to the running of the vehicle.
After passing through the condenser 9 and the radiator 8 after being guided by the wind guiding/reinforcing plate 10 and flowing straight through the condenser 9 and the radiator 8,
The cooling air hits the engine body 7, and in this case as well, the cooling air passes through the side of the condenser 9 and passes through the engine body 7.

As described above, according to the present invention, in an automobile including an engine body and a heat exchanger located in front of the engine body in the engine room provided at the front part of the vehicle body, one end of the heat exchanger is connected to the engine. The bumper body is arranged to be biased to one side in the left-right direction of the engine room so as to abut against one inner wall of the engine room, and a synthetic resin bumper body is attached to the front of the vehicle body, and the bumper body faces the heat exchanger. Open the air intake and place it in the center of the back side of the bumper body in the left and right direction.
A wind guiding/reinforcing plate is fixed to guide the cooling air that has flowed into the air intake port to the heat exchanger and reinforcing the bumper body, and a rear end of this wind guiding/reinforcing plate is attached to the other end of the heat exchanger. Because they are placed close to each other, when the car is running, the cooling air that is about to enter the engine room through the air intake in the bumper body passes through the side of the heat exchanger and directly hits the engine body. This can be effectively blocked by the inner wall of the engine room where one end of the heat exchanger meets, and the wind guiding/reinforcing plate whose rear end is close to the other end of the heat exchanger. The air passing through the engine cools the engine appropriately and is effective in preventing overcooling of the engine body. Moreover, the inner wall of the engine room is used as an air guide means to prevent cooling air from passing through on the side of the heat exchanger, so the air guide/reinforcing plate only needs to be installed on one side of the heat exchanger.
The structure is simple and can contribute to cost reduction and improved assembly. Furthermore, since the heat exchanger is placed biased to one side in the left-right direction of the engine room, a space is created on one side in front of the engine body in the engine room, and this space can be used effectively for arranging other equipment, etc. can do. Furthermore, the central part of the synthetic resin bumper body can be effectively reinforced by the wind guiding and reinforcing plate.
