The present invention relates to a speaker damper for maintaining the center of a voice coil. Conventional speaker dampers have been constructed by impregnating a base cloth made of plain weave cotton thread with a thermosetting resin such as a phenolic resin, and molding the resultant material under heat and pressure into a predetermined corrugation shape. However, since this conventional speaker damper uses a plain-woven fabric as a base fabric, deep drawing is difficult, and the directionality of the base fabric causes deformation. In addition, the warp and weft threads only intersect, and even though the warp threads and weft threads are fixed by thermosetting resin, the fixed part comes off when the speaker is driven at the intersecting part, and the speaker cannot be used. In this case, it caused a decrease in the lowest resonant frequency and the generation of abnormal noise. The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and aims to provide a speaker damper that can be deep drawn and has excellent performance. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is characterized in that a base fabric knitted into a hexagonal shape while twisting threads is impregnated with a thermosetting resin and formed by heating and pressing into a predetermined corrugation shape. That is. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. First, in FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a coupling part to the voice coil, a corrugation part 2 is formed on the outer periphery of this voice coil coupling part 1, and a downwardly rising part 3 is formed on the outer periphery of this corrugation part 2. The vertical portion 3 is provided with a connecting portion 4 to a frame or the like on the outer periphery thereof. In this structure, the base fabric 5 is made by mechanically twisting one or more cotton threads or synthetic fiber threads 6 and knitting them alternately into a hexagonal shape, as shown in FIG. . This base fabric is knitted in such a way that it does not shift at each intersection, so unlike plain weave, the warp and weft threads do not shift. This base cloth 5 is impregnated with a thermosetting resin such as a phenolic resin, and is molded into the above-described structure by heating and pressing. Next, a specific example of the speaker damper of the present invention and a conventional speaker damper and a comparison of their characteristics will be described. [Conventional example] The warp and weft are made of two 30 count cotton threads, and the number of threads is 60 warp and 65 weft.A base fabric is impregnated with 10wt% of phenolic resin and then heated and pressure molded. [This invention] A base fabric knitted into a hexagonal shape using two strands of 30-count cotton thread was impregnated with 10 wt % of phenolic resin, and the fabric was molded under heat and pressure. These dampers for both speakers were incorporated into a 25cm diameter speaker, and a load of 20W was applied to drive the speaker near the lowest resonance frequency, and the rate of change at the lowest resonance frequency of 0 was investigated. The results are shown in the table below.

[Table] In addition, hysteresis curves were examined by applying loads to the above-mentioned conventional and present speaker dampers. The results are shown in FIG. 3 for the conventional example and in FIG. 4 for the present invention. Even in this hysteresis curve,
It is clear that the speaker damper of the present invention is superior. As described above, the speaker damper of the present invention has
Since each thread is fixed by the weaving method and impregnated with thermosetting resin, the intersecting parts of the threads will not shift during operation, which will reduce the lowest resonant frequency and cause abnormal noise. It can be prevented. In addition, the base fabric has very little directionality, making it possible to form dampers with deep corrugations, and making dampers with less deformation and excellent linearity, which is of great industrial value.
