ユレートフイルタに接近して配置された電気ヒー
タと前記電気ヒータの通電を制御する制御手段と
を含み前記パーテイキユレートフイルタに蓄積さ
れた煤等のパーテイキユレートを燃焼し除去して
パーテイキユレートフイルタを再生する装置にお
いて、前記制御手段は前記電気ヒータの抵抗値ま
たは前記電気ヒータを流れる電流値を検出する検
出器に接続され、また前記制御手段は前記検出器
によつて検出された抵抗値または電流値に応じて
通電を制御する通電制御素子に接続されているこ
とを特徴とする排気ガス用フイルタの再生装置。 (2) 前記通電制御素子は前記電気ヒータと電源
との間に設けられた半導体制御素子から成つてい
