(Prior art) Conventionally, single-sided corrugated board was manufactured by passing core paper between two rotating upper and lower corrugating rolls, forming the core paper into a corrugated shape, and then inserting the core paper into the lower side. Transfer with the bottom half of the roll. At this time, the corrugated core paper tends to separate from the surface of the lower corrugating roll due to its elasticity and the centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the lower corrugating roll. In order to obtain a high-quality single-sided ball, it is necessary to bring the core paper into close contact with the lower roll and transport it to the point where it joins the liner paper. Furthermore, conventionally, an adhesive has been applied to the core paper in the lower half section of the lower corrugating roll.

There are two methods for transporting corrugated core paper in close contact with the lower corrugating roll: a suction method to adsorb the core paper to the lower corrugating roll, and a pre-nosha method to transfer the core paper to the lower corrugating roll. Two types of methods have been well known in the past: a method of pressing against a side corrugating roll;

The suction method has the disadvantage that the heat of the heated lower corrugated roll is taken away by the suction action of air, resulting in a decrease in thermal efficiency.

On the other hand, with the one-pressure type, it is extremely difficult to shield between the rotating corrugated rolls and the airtight chamber, making it impossible to maintain sufficient airtightness. It is installed in an airtight room,
The viscosity of the starch glue increases due to the secondary heat radiation from the lower working roll, which is one of the causes of decreasing the adhesive strength.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Therefore, the present invention adopts the above-mentioned one-pressure type as a means for closely conveying the core paper, prevents the deterioration of the sealing performance of the airtight chamber, which is the drawback of the above-mentioned conventional method, and The purpose is to prevent deterioration due to temperature rise.

(Means to be Solved by the Invention) In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, an adhesive is applied to the liner paper upstream of the joining point between the core paper and the liner paper, and the lower corrugated roll is coated with an adhesive. No adhesive is put into the pressurizing chamber provided at the bottom, so that the pressurizing chamber can be completely shielded, and there is no fear of temperature rise of the adhesive.

(Example) FIG. 1 shows an example of the present invention, which will be explained in the order of its steps. The core paper 1 is fed into the apparatus in the direction of arrow A, passes through the guide roll 2, and enters the meshing point between the upper corrugating roll 3 and the lower corrugating roll 4 as the upper corrugating roll 3 rotates. Both corrugated rolls are provided with corrugated grooves 5 on their outer surfaces (second

The grooves of both corrugated rolls mesh with each other and rotate to form a corrugated shape on the core paper 1. An airtight chamber 6 is attached to the lower half of the lower corrugating roll 4 in an airtight manner with respect to the lower corrugating roll. Air is sent into the airtight chamber 6 through the air pipe 7. The core paper tends to separate from the lower corrugating roll in the lower half section of the rotating lower corrugating roll due to its elasticity and the centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the lower corrugating roll. The air that is sent in increases the internal pressure of the airtight chamber 6 and presses the core paper against the lower corrugating roll, so that the core paper is firmly attached to the periphery of the lower corrugating roll and rotates and presses with the lower corrugating roll 4. roll 8
enters the point of contact or juncture with. The press roll has a smooth outer surface. On the other hand, the liner paper IO enters the apparatus as indicated by arrow B and enters the rotating press roll 8 by the outer periphery of the rotating preheat roll 9. The liner paper 10 is preheated on the preheating roll 9, and starch glue, which is an adhesive, is adhered to the liner paper on the circumference of the rotating press roll 8 by a glue roll 11. The starch glue 13 contained in the glue tray 12 is scraped up by a transfer roll 15, and the amount of adhesive applied is adjusted by an adjustment roll 14 rotating in contact with the transfer roll. Thus, a suitable amount of glue is transferred from the transfer roll 15 to the glue roll 11, and the glue roll 1
One rotation applies adhesive to the liner paper. The glue roll 11 is a corrugated roll having linear grooves 5 on its surface, which allows the glue to be applied linearly and intermittently to the liner paper. The glued liner paper and core paper are adhered by compressive force between the lower corrugating roll and the press roll.

The crests of the corrugations of the core paper 1 and the lines of glue applied to the liner paper by the glue roll are coordinated so as to match. Of course, the glue roll 11 can also be a smooth roll without providing the grooves 5 on its outer surface. The core paper and liner paper thus bonded become a single-sided corrugated board 16 and are discharged in the direction of arrow C. As shown in FIG. 3, a glue plate 17 can be placed near the glue roll 11 to scrape off excess glue and reuse it. Further, the transfer roll 15 may be omitted. In addition, by feeding hot air into the airtight chamber 6, the thermal energy necessary for forming corrugations on the core paper is supplied, and the device can be operated at high speed to improve production efficiency and produce large quantities of single-sided corrugated cardboard. .

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the method and apparatus for manufacturing single-sided corrugated board according to the present invention, the corrugated core paper can be transported to the joining point with the liner paper while being in close contact with the lower corrugating roll. Since the bonding was done using an adhesive applied to the liner paper side upstream of the joining point, there was no need to provide an adhesive (i.e., starch glue) applicator inside the airtight chamber, and therefore the sealing performance of the airtight chamber was improved. This has the effect of reliably preventing the temperature rise of the starch paste and preventing its deterioration. Furthermore, since no adhesive such as starch glue is placed inside the airtight chamber, hot air can be introduced into the airtight chamber, and productivity can therefore be improved.
