ている。36は出滓口35゛を開閉する扉である。この

く傾動させる必要があるので、その傾動角度を減少させ
るものとして特開昭59−86887号公報には、第5
図に示すアーク炉40が提案されている。このアーク炉
40は、炉本体41の側方に突設した突出容器部42の
底に出湯口43を設け、この出湯口43を底蓋44によ
り開閉するようにしたもので、炉本体41は突出容器部
42側及びこれと反対側にそれぞれ傾動するようになっ
ている。

てすみ、また操業終了時の出滓は出湯口43によりおこ
なうことができるが、操業の途中で除滓をおこなうには
炉本体41を鎖線45で示すように突出容器部42と反
対方向に傾動させ、操業口46から出滓する必要がある
ので、炉本体41は両側へ傾動させるため傾動範囲が大
きく、また前記アーク炉37と同様に取鍋24および受
滓鍋23を炉本体41の下方両側に位置させるため大き
なスペースを必要とする。
