Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) A case that accommodates a magnetic tape, a rotatable front cover that covers the front opening of the case, and a recorder that is locked so that the front cover does not rotate under normal conditions. A magnetic tape cassette is provided with a locking member that automatically releases the locked state when the magnetic tape cassette is opened. It consists of a protrusion that fits from the plate into the engagement recess of the front cover through the side wall, and a spring integrated with the pivot plate, the spring moving away from the pivot plate in a direction away from the pivot shaft. A tape cassette with a lock, characterized in that the tape cassette extends horizontally and engages a portion of the case at its free end.
