アイバ伝送路の両端にはそれぞれ電気／光変換モ
ジユールと光／電気変換モジユールとが設けられ
ており、船上及び水中においてスイツチ装置によ
り切換えられてそれぞれ一方の伝送路が使用され
るように待機二重伝送方式になされ、更に、水中
のデータターミナルには、光／電気変換モジユー
ルの出力を電気／光変換モジユールに直接接続す
る折返しスイツチ装置が設けられていることを特
