Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep off any frictional coloring on a thermosensible chart, by pushing up a chart receiving plate, where a part of the chart feeding side installed in the bottom of a cassette moves up and down, and pressing a top face of the chart to a feed roller, while regulating height of the chart top with a claw. CONSTITUTION:A receiving plate 18 of a chart 11 is installed on the bottom of a cassette 10, and a part at the side of a feed roller 13 is made movable up and down. With a decrease of the chart 11, the receiving plate 18 is made to go up by a spring 19, and the chart 11 is pressed to the feed roller 13. On the other hand, each regulating member 20 installed at both sides of the cassette 10 is made rockable around a fulcrum shaft 20b of a side plate 17a, and height of the chart 11 is regulated by the claw 20a bent inward. The regulating member 20 is balanced in advance so as to cause the claw 20a to be made lightly contact with the chart 11 when the chart 11 is loaded on the receiving plate 18. A rear end 20d of the regulating member 20 comes into contact with a bottom plate 17b of the cassette 10, restricting an upward movement of the claw 20a. With this constitution, pushing force between the chart 11 and the feed roller 13 is reduced, thus any coloring due to friction of the thermosensible chart is prevented from occurring.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, this type of device has a paper feed cassette 2 which overflows a cassette guide 1 of a recording device and is removably loaded in a paper feed position, and a paper feed cassette 2 which is removably loaded into a paper feed position. The paper feed cassette 2 has a paper feed row 24 that feeds the topmost recording paper by contacting the upper surface of the recording paper 3 in the paper cassette 2. a lift plate 6 that is swingably provided at the bottom of the recording paper and supports the bottom surface of the recording paper;
a spring 7 that pushes up the recording paper 3 thereon and presses the recording paper 3 thereon against the paper feed roller 4; a pair of claws 8 that are arranged near both ends of the front end of the recording paper 3 in the feeding direction and whose tips are bent toward the upper surface of the recording paper; It has a side plate 9 that guides the side edge of the recording paper. In this paper feeding device, the recording paper 3 in the paper feeding cassette 2 is pressed against the paper feeding roller 4 by a spring 7, and is sequentially fed out one by one by the rotation of the paper feeding roller 4, and is moved to a recording position (not shown). will be sent to. Here, since claws 8 are provided near both ends of the front end of the recording paper 3, the recording paper 3 fed out from the paper feed cassette 2 passes through the claws 8 with both ends deformed greatly. The recording paper 3 that is fed out is separated from the recording paper below it, and only a single recording paper is fed out. Note that the claw 8 not only functions to separate the recording paper as described above, but also prevents the top surface of the recording paper from protruding slightly above the main body box 5 before the paper feed cassette 2 is loaded into the recording apparatus. It also serves to regulate the position of the top surface.

As a result of investigating the cause of the above-mentioned problem, the inventors of the present invention found that this coloring is caused by the pressure between the paper feed roller and the recording paper. That is, in the conventional device, in order to feed out the recording paper in the paper feed cassette, the recording paper must be deformed at the claw 8 and passed through. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a large conveying force to the recording paper. , the pressing force between the paper feed roller and the recording paper by the spring is increased. Therefore, at the paper feed roller position, a large pressing force is applied between the recording paper being fed out and the recording paper below it, and between the recording paper being fed out and the recording paper below it. A large frictional force was applied, causing frictional coloring to occur on the lower recording paper.

Function The present invention eliminates the need to deform the recording paper when feeding the recording paper by disposing the claws for regulating the upper surface position of the recording paper not at the front end of the recording paper but on both sides of the recording paper as described above. This eliminates the need for the paper feeding roller to carry the recording paper, so the pressing force between the recording paper and the paper feeding roller can be reduced compared to before, and the frictional force between the recording paper and the recording paper is small. This makes it possible to feed heat-sensitive recording paper without coloring due to friction. Note that even if the paper feed roller double-feeds the recording sheets, the separation mechanism separates the sheets, so that only a single recording sheet can be fed to the recording position.

Further, the regulating member 20 is balanced so that the claw 20a lightly contacts the recording paper 11 when the recording paper 11 is loaded on the lift plate 18. The front portion 20C of the regulating member 20 is bent in front of the recording paper 11 to prevent the recording paper 11 from falling out when the paper feed cassette 10 is moved. However, when the paper feed cassette 10 is loaded in the paper feed position of the recording device, the height of the folded front portion 20C is adjusted so as not to cause any problem in feeding out the topmost recording paper. It is lowered by the thickness of the top few layers. The rear end 20d of the regulating member 20 also extends rearward than the support shaft 20b, and the claw 20a
When it rises, it hits the bottom plate 17b of the main box 17,
The lifting position of the claw 2 (l) is regulated. Normally, the lift plate 18 and the recording paper 11 are pushed upward by the elastic member 19, and the top surface of the recording paper is maintained at a predetermined height position determined by the claw 20&. Note that the upper limit position of the claw 20a is when the uppermost surface of the recording paper 11 is pressed against the paper feed roller 13 by the elastic member 19 when the paper feed cassette 10 is loaded in the recording apparatus as shown in FIG. At this time, as the recording paper 11 is fed out, the paper feed cassette 10
Even if the number of recording sheets 11 inside decreases, the lift plate 1
8 is pushed up by the elastic member 19 and presses the recording paper 11 against the paper feed roller 13, so the recording paper 11 is fed out one after another. Here, a claw 20 is attached to the recording paper 11 fed out from the paper feed cassette 10 by the paper feed roller 13.
a are only lightly in contact with each other, and as in the conventional apparatus shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the pawl 8 is positioned in front of the recording paper in the feeding direction, and the recording paper passes through the position of the pawl 8. Since the structure is different from the one that requires a large deformation, the conveying force for feeding the recording paper 11 can be extremely small;
Even if the pressing force on one paper feed roller 13 is extremely small, the recording paper 11 can be fed without the paper feed row 213 slipping. Therefore, the pressing force of the recording paper 11 against the paper feed roller 13 by the elastic member 18 is set to be extremely small. As a result, the frictional force between the recording paper fed out by the paper feed roller 13 and the recording paper stationary below is small, and even when heat-sensitive cut paper is used as the recording paper, the There is almost no friction coloring on the paper.

In the above embodiment, the regulating member 20 for regulating the upper surface position of the recording paper 11 is provided to be swingable by the support shaft 20b, and the paper feeding cassette 10 is fixed by the cam 22 and the presser pin 21.
When loading the recording paper, it automatically swings and pushes down the top surface of the recording paper.
Although the regulating member 20 is configured to be inserted under the paper feed roller 13, it is not necessarily necessary to make it swingable.
It may also have a structure fixed to the main body box. However, in that case, when loading the paper feed cassette 10, the paper feed roller 13 may be raised manually or by an appropriate mechanism to a position that does not interfere with the insertion of recording paper into the paper feed cassette. After loading the paper cassette, it is necessary to return it to its original position.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description, the present invention provides the following advantages by arranging claws on both sides of the recording paper in the feeding direction for regulating the upper surface position of the recording paper stored in the paper feeding cassette. It is possible to reduce the conveying force required to feed the recording paper and reduce the pressing force between the recording paper and the paper feed roller. It has the effect of being able to prevent frictional coloring, and also being able to prevent double feeding of recording paper by providing the recording device with a separation mechanism that separates the recording paper that is double fed from the paper feed cassette. It is something.
