(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) In the washer/dryer described above, the amount of heat generated by the heater in the dryer section must be reduced in order to satisfy the rated household electrical capacity even when operating simultaneously. There is a problem in that it has to be set smaller than conventional stand-alone dryers, and the performance of the dryer section has to be sacrificed.
This has been an obstacle to practical application.

(Function) With the above configuration, the amount of heat generated by the heater in the dryer section is reduced when processes such as washing, rinsing, and dehydration, which consume large amounts of power, are executed in the washing machine section, and processes such as water supply and drainage, which consume relatively little power, are executed. At times, the amount of heat generated by the heater in the dryer section can be increased, and the amount of heat generated by the heater can be automatically controlled according to the operating conditions of the washing machine section.

Therefore, from the start to the end of operation of the washing machine section, there is no need to reduce the amount of heat generated by the heater in the dryer section to reduce drying performance, and the washing machine section and dryer section can be operated within the rated household electrical capacity. Drying performance can also be improved by running them simultaneously.

FIG. 1 is a functional block diagram of a washer/dryer according to an embodiment of the present invention. Laundry #11 part! 4 controls the washing and dewatering motor 7, the water supply valve I5, the drain valve 16, etc. according to a pre-stored program, and cooperates with the water level information signal from the water level switch 17 to perform a series of operations from washing to dewatering including water supply. Something that executes tasks in sequence. Further, this washing control section 14Fi is provided with a heat generation amount indicating section 18 that generates a heat generation amount control signal in accordance with the operating status of the washing machine section 2. Drying control section! 9 controls the heater 9 and the motor 1O to perform drying work with hot air, determines the end of drying based on the intake and exhaust temperature signals from the temperature sensors 20 and 21, and based on the signal from the fixed position sensor 22. The rotary drum 8 is stopped at a fixed position (a position where the input port of the drum 80 and the drying opening face each other). The drying control section 19 controls the heater 9 based on the heat generation amount control signal from the heat generation amount instruction section 18.

Thus, the calorific value indicating unit 18 generates a calorific value control signal when executing each process of washing, rinsing, and spin-drying in which the motor 7 is energized, except for the water supply and draining processes, which require relatively low power consumption.

On the other hand, the calorific value control group 23 controls the calorific value of the heater 9 to be reduced from strong (for example, 1200 W) to weak (for example, GOOW) in response to the input of the above-mentioned calorific value control signal. Note that the washing control section 14, drying control section 19, etc. are realized by a microcomputer.

Now, when the washing machine section 2 starts operating while the dryer section 3 is in operation, the amount of heat generated by the heater 9 is changed as shown in FIG. 8 according to the operating condition of the washing rack section 2. Third
To explain according to the diagram, first, in the water supply step, the amount of heat generated by the heater 9 is kept in a strong state. When the water supply process is completed and the washing process begins, at the same time, the calorific value instruction unit 18 generates a calorific value control signal and inputs it to the calorific value control group 23, so that the calorific value of the heater 9 is controlled by the control unit 23. It will be reduced from strong to weak. Therefore, although the power consumption on the washing machine section 2 side increases due to energization of the motor 7, by reducing the heat generation amount of the heater 9, the washing machine section 2 and the dryer section 3 can be operated at the same time within the household electrical rated capacity. Driving can kill you.

When the washing process is completed and the draining process begins, the amount of heat generated by the heater 9 is returned from low to high to continue the drying process. Thereafter, in the washing machine section 2, the heat output of the heater 9 is switched to weak when executing the intermediate spin-drying, rinsing, and final spin-drying steps in which power consumption increases due to energization of the motor 7, and the heat output of the heater 9 is switched to weak when executing the water supply and draining steps. In this state, the washing machine section 2 and the dryer section 3 are operated simultaneously, and the drying performance at that time depends on the operating status of the washing machine section 2. Since the amount of heat generated by the heater 9 is controlled to be kept as strong as possible, it can be improved.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to operate the washing machine section and the dryer section simultaneously within the rated household electrical capacity, and it is also possible to improve the drying performance during simultaneous operation. , it is possible to provide a washer/dryer that is easy to use and has excellent practicality.
