Conventionally, the traveler used for spinning and twisting cotton, synthetic fibers, etc. rotates slower than the spindle due to friction caused by sliding contact with the ring.
The thread is twisted and wound onto the bobbin, but when the thread is rotated at high speed, problems such as a shortened lifespan due to burnout of the traveler and an increase in thread breakage occur.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, a plating layer such as nickel plating or chrome plating is provided on the surface of the metal traveler in order to extend the service life and reduce wear by improving wear resistance.

The above-mentioned plated traveler has the effect of extending the life and reducing thread breakage compared to the unplated traveler, but it still has the disadvantage that sufficient traveler life cannot be obtained under harsh operating conditions and thread breakage increases. It was hot.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and by providing a nickel plating layer as a base layer on the surface of a metal traveler and making the surface plating layer a metal plating with good thermal conductivity, the traveler and ring can be connected. To provide a traveler that dissipates heat due to sliding contact, hardly causes traveler burn, and has less thread breakage even during high-speed rotation.

Since it is coated with silver at S.°C by plating, the heat generated by sliding contact with the ring is conducted to the ring and traveler and dissipated, so traveler burn can be significantly reduced.

The entire surface of the traveler 3 made of hard steel wire or alloy steel is pre-plated with nickel to a thickness of 1 to 20 microns to form a nickel-plated layer 4, and a layer 4 with a thermal conductivity of 0.94 cal/cm is further formed on the nickel-plated layer. Contact with the ring is made smoothly, and the ring becomes familiar to the ring quickly, resulting in early stability of traveler running.

The thermal conductivity is 0.8cal/cm. If the temperature is less than S.℃,
Thermal conductivity is 0.8 cal/cm because heat dissipation becomes poor and the traveler burns more often. S.℃ or higher is good.

As described above, the traveler for a spinning machine of the present invention has a nickel plating layer on the base layer of the metal traveler, and the surface plating layer is made of silver, copper, etc. with a thermal conductivity of 0.8cal/
cm. Since it uses metal with a temperature of S°C or higher, it dissipates the heat caused by the sliding contact between the ring and the traveler, which hardly causes traveler burn, extending the life of the traveler, and has the advantage of less thread breakage even during high-speed rotation. This invention has the following.
