Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable blowing direction to be changed at will in a fan with an optical wireless remote control deice by providing additionally a direction searching receiver having narrow directivity in the same axial direction as blowing direction axis. CONSTITUTION:When the command of change in blowing direction is input from a command input section 2 of an optical signal transmitter 1, a commanding optical signal is generated from a luminescent element 4 through a signal generating circuit 3. This commanding optical signal is received by a receiver 6 of a fan body 5 and when the reception signal command is decoded by a signal processing and controlling circuit 12, an oscillating motor 14 is driven through an oscillating motor driving circuit 13 to rotate an oscillating block 17. Also, when a blowing direction searching receiver 9 searches the commanding optical signal sending direction, following said movement and the commanding optical signal enters the directional angle extent of said receiver 9 so that the luminescent element 10 receives the optical signal, a direction determination informing block 18 will inform an operator of that optical signal.

する。命令信号が送風方向検索用受信部9の指向角の範
囲に入ると、受光素子10に受信出力が得られる。受光
素子においては1発元素子の元軸と、受光素子の光軸が
一致した場合、最大受信出力が得られるため、首振りブ
ロック17を動かすことによシ得られる方向検索用受信
部9の出力を随時チェックし、最大受信出力の得られる
方向を検索し、送風方向として決定する。さらに、方向
決定通知ブロック18によシ操作者へ知らせる。
