Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the separation efficiency of a bubble separator attached to a submergible motor pump by receiving concentrically two cylindrical baffle boards in a container to separate bubbles from water while water flows vertically zigzag by these baffle boards. CONSTITUTION:A liquid pump 1 provided on the lower side with a draft port 1a and on the lower portion with a bubble separator 2 has a motor M attached to the lower portion thereof. Then, the separator 2 is constituted from a first tubular baffle board 4 formed by extending downward the draft port 1a and a second tubular baffle board 5 erected from a bottom wall 3b between the baffle board 4 and a peripheral wall 3a and disposed concentrically with the first baffle board in a cylindrical container 3 provided to cover draft port 1a. And by forming a hole 4a in the lower portion of first baffle board 4, a hole 5a in the upper portion of second baffle board 5 and further a plurality of holes 6 in the lower portion of container 3 respectively, draft flow flowing vertically zigzag is formed.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Field of Industrial Application) This invention prevents a drop in the suction pressure of the pump by removing bubbles of air, gas, etc. mixed in the water being pumped, thereby increasing the operating efficiency of the pump. This invention relates to a submersible motor pump equipped with a bubble separator.

(Prior art) Conventionally, submersible motor pumps used in deep wells operate a pump directly connected to a motor at the bottom underwater in the well, and suck water through a strainer from a water intake port provided between the pump and the motor. It was like that.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, underground water, especially hot springs, is contaminated with air and gas, and the strainer is intended to prevent dirt and foreign matter from being mixed in. The water enters the pump through a strainer and is stirred by an impeller rotating at high speed inside the casing.Water, which is heavier than gas and air, moves toward the inner wall of the casing due to centrifugal force, while air and gas, which are lighter than water, are centered in the impeller. Because the impeller was separated into two sides, the impeller ran idly, lowering the suction pressure and often reducing the efficiency of the pump.

In order to prevent this, by increasing the difference in the outer diameters of the well pipe and the submersible motor pump and providing some space between them, the rate at which air bubbles will escape between the submersible motor pump and the well pipe will increase and this will be considerably improved. However, it was rarely used because increasing the diameter of the well would increase the cost of polling.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention was provided in view of the above situation, and is a submersible motor pump provided with a separator 2 for removing air bubbles mixed into water, the separator 2 being A container 3 that covers at least the water intake port 1a of the pump is provided in the lower part of the pump, and a cylindrical first baffle plate 4 in which the water intake port 1a of the pump 1 is extended is vertically provided in the container 3. A second baffle plate 5 interposed between the peripheral wall 3a of the container 3 and the first baffle plate 4 is erected on the bottom wall 3h of the container 3. There are many holes 6 on the 3 sides of the container except for the enclosed bottom wall 3h.

(Function) The submersible motor pump configured as above is the container 3.
a bottom wall 3b' surrounded by a peripheral wall 3a and a second baffle plate 5;
Water mixed with air bubbles enters through a large number of holes 6 made in the bottom wall 3b except for the water, and the water moves upward along the second baffle plate 5 due to the suction pressure of the pump 1. It moves downward between the first baffle plate 4 and the second baffle plate 5 from the upper end, but only the air bubbles mixed in the water rise from near the upper end of the second baffle plate 5 due to buoyancy. Through the hole 6 in the upper part of the container 3, it passes between the pump 1 and the well pipe and rises to the water surface.
Further, while the water is moving between the first baffle plate 4 and the second baffle plate 5, the air bubbles remaining in the water float upward against the movement of water due to buoyancy and reach the upper part of the container 3. It goes out through hole 6 and moves to the water surface.

(Effects) Since the submersible motor pump according to the present invention is configured as described above, the water sucked from the bottom wall of the container of the separator and the vicinity of the bottom wall by the suction pressure of the pump is transferred to the second baffle plate and the side wall of the container. The air and gas bubbles contained in the water are drawn out of the container through the holes at the top of the container, and the water moves downward along the second baffle plate, but the water still remains in the water. The bubbles escape upwards, becoming bubble-free water that rises inside the first baffle plate from the lower end of the first baffle plate and is sucked into the pump. This completely prevents the suction pressure and efficiency of the pump from decreasing.
