(Prior Art and Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Conventionally, there are decorative materials in which metal foil is integrally attached to the surface of a synthetic resin base material, but such decorative materials have a problem with the surface condition of the metal foil. For example, they were monotonous with only hairline processing or mirror finishing, and had the problem of lacking decorative effects. For this purpose, as shown in FIG. 11, metal foils with different surface conditions are placed on the surface of the synthetic resin base material 1', for example, a metal foil 2' with a hairline surface finish and a metal foil 3' with a mirror surface finish. There are decorative materials that are attached along the length, but due to the manufacturing process, the resin of the base material 1' exists between the metal foils 2' and 3', which impairs the metallic feel and prevents the decorative effect from being fully exerted. There was a problem.

The first metal foil 2 and the second metal foil 3 are made of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, or the like. The metal foils 2 and 3 are subjected to surface treatments such as Heller line processing, mirror finishing, and colored coating, and are also processed to have different surface conditions. The metal foils 2 and 3 are attached to the surface of the base material 1 with their adjacent side edges abutting each other along the length direction of the base material 1, as shown in FIG. 1, for example. or,
The surfaces of the metal foils 2 and 3 are not continuous, uniform, and smooth surfaces, but have a slight step between the surfaces, which is approximately the thickness of the metal foils 2 and 3.

For example, in the case of FIGS. 1 and 9, a second metal foil 3 is provided on the surface of the bent portion of the base material 1, and the second metal foil 3
The surface of the metal foil 2 is slightly recessed than the surface of the adjacent metal foil 2. In this case, generally the second metal foil 3
is mirror-finished. In addition, in the case of Fig. 10, the base material 1
This is a case in which metal foils 2 and 3 are attached to the flat surface of. In addition to the above, the decorative material A of the present invention may be formed with several types of metal foils having different surface conditions on the surface of the base material 1 along the length direction.

First, the first metal foil 2 is sequentially fed out from the feeding machine 4, and cut grooves 21 are provided at desired positions of the metal foil 2 along the length direction by the groove forming machine 5 as shown in FIG.
Next, a second metal foil 3 having a narrower width and a different surface condition than the first metal foil 2 is fed out from the feeding machine 6, and a fourth metal foil 3 is fed out from the feeding machine 6.
As shown in the figure, the first metal foil 2 is overlapped on the back surface of the first metal foil 2 with the notched groove 21 along it. Next, the metal foils 2 and 3 are introduced into the mold 71 of the extruder 7 in a superimposed state, and a synthetic resin coating layer 11 is formed on the outer periphery of the metal foils 2 and 3 as shown in FIG. Next, the metal foils 2 and 3 having the synthetic resin coating layer 11 are placed in a forming mold 8 and a cooling tank 9.
to form the desired shape as shown in FIG. Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the resin coating film 12 on the surface of the first metal foil 2 is peeled off, and the overlapping portion 22 of the first metal foil 2 and the second metal foil 3 is removed as shown in FIG. It is peeled off and cut into a desired length using a cutting machine 10.

In addition, when forming the synthetic resin coating layer 11 on the outer periphery of the above-mentioned metal foils 2 and 3, the back surface of the first metal foil 2,
That is, a synthetic resin coating layer 11 is formed to a desired thickness on the surface side on which the second metal foil 3 is superimposed to serve as the base material 1 of the decorative material A, and a synthetic resin coating layer 11 is formed on the surface side of the first metal foil 2. Resin coating film 1 from which layer 11 is later peeled off
2, it is formed into a thin film. When peeling off the resin coating film 12, a notch groove is provided along the length direction in the synthetic resin coating layer 11 on both sides of the surface side of the first metal foil 2, and the resin coating film 12 is removed along the notch groove. Just peel it off. The resin coating film 12 may be peeled off simultaneously with the above-mentioned overlapping portion 22 during the continuous manufacturing process, or may be peeled off separately, or the resin coating film 12 may be removed once along the above-mentioned notch grooves. Alternatively, the resin coating film 12 and the overlapping portion 22 may be separated separately.

As shown in FIG. 8 above, after peeling off the overlapping portion 22 of the first metal foil 2 and the second metal foil 3,
The side edge of the second metal foil 2, that is, the notch edge, is pressed using an appropriate means such as a roller to make the notch edge smooth along the side edge of the second metal foil 3, thereby cutting the hand. This is preferable because a product with excellent aesthetic appearance can be obtained without any problems.

Moreover, the above-mentioned manufacturing method provides a pair of notch grooves 21, 21 along the length direction at a desired position of the first metal foil 2, and a second groove having a width approximately equal to that between the pair of notch grooves 21, 21. Although the second metal foil 3 is superimposed on the first metal foil 2, the number of notch grooves 21 is not limited to one pair, but a plurality of pairs may be provided, and a plurality of second metal foils 3 may be overlapped accordingly. Also, the notch groove 21 is simply
In this case, the second metal foil 3 having a width approximately equal to the width between the notch groove 21 and the side edge of the first metal foil 2 may be overlapped along the notch groove 21.

(Effects of the Invention) As detailed above, the decorative material of the present invention includes at least two types of metal foils having different surface conditions attached integrally to the surface of a synthetic resin base material along the length direction,
Since the side edges of adjacent metal foils are in contact with each other along the length direction, the product has an image of a high-class product and is excellent in appearance without impairing the metallic feel as in conventional products.

Furthermore, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, a second metal foil having a narrower width and a different surface condition than the first metal foil is overlaid on the back surface of the first metal foil along the notch groove, and extrusion molded. At the same time, the resin coating film on the surface of the metal foil is peeled off, and the overlapping portion of the first metal foil with the second metal foil is peeled off along the notch groove, so that the resin protrudes onto the surface side of the metal foil. Therefore, it is possible to easily produce a decorative material with an excellent appearance and a metallic appearance on the surface. Furthermore, by combining various metal foils with different surface conditions, it is possible to easily obtain various decorative materials with excellent decorative effects.
