体と、前記ヘツド本体のピツクアツプ部を挾んだ
両側に位置し該ヘツド本体をデイスクの径方向に
移動可能に支持した一対のガイド軸と、前記ヘツ
ド本体のベースに設けられたコイルボビンおよび
このコイルボビンを移動自在に装着したヨークな
らびに前記コイルボビンに対向する一対の磁石と
からなり前記ヘツド本体をデイスクの径方向に移
動させるリニアモータとを備えたヘツド駆動装置
において、前記一対のガイド軸の内一方のガイド
軸を、前記リニアモータ位置上に位置するヘツド
本体のベースに配設したことを特徴とするヘツド
