るポテンシヨメータ型のスロツトル開度検出器に
関する。

ある位置から一定量変化したのちにポテンシヨメ
ータ出力が立上るものがあり、また第1図bに示
す如くスロツトル開度に対し起点からリニヤに出
力するものが知られている。しかしながら、前者
では出力の立上り時点をスロツトル弁の全閉位置
に一致させるように取付け作業を行うことは非常
に困難が伴い、また後者ではスロツトル弁の全閉
位置に対応した出力を予めある値に設定しておけ
ば検出可能であるが、その測定精度が悪くなると
いう欠点がある。

ツトル開度θを検出するものである。一般にこの
検出した信号は電圧レベルに変換されて図示して
いないエンジン制御用コンピユータに入力され、
エンジンアイドル運転、減速、加速などの運転状
態を検出し、それに見合つたエンジン制御(燃料
制御や点火時期制御など)を実現するものであ
る。またポテンシヨメータ1において、11はス
ロツトル弁2の回転に連動する慴動ブラシであ
り、12は例えばセラミツク基板上に印刷形成さ
れた抵抗体である。この抵抗体12は、導体部
A、高抵抗部C、およびポテンシヨ抵抗部Bの3
つの部分からなる。この高抵抗部Cはスロツトル
弁2の全閉位置に相当する位置に相当し回転角度
範囲が1〜2度程度の狭い構造からなる。13,
14は所定の電圧(電源電圧VBとGND)を与え
るための入力端子、15はポテンシヨメータ出力
VSを取出すための出力端子である。

ほとんど影響されることなくスロツトル開度θが
全閉位置にあるか否かを正確かつ安定して検出で
きるようになる。
