In recent years, demands regarding the safety of gas appliances have increased, and the same applies to the gas rubber tubes used in gas appliances. In order to respond to this, the gas rubber tube industry has gathered collective knowledge and established voluntary inspection standards. has been established, and only products that pass this standard are shipped, and many useful ideas regarding the safety of rubber pipes have been proposed.

Although the quality of gas rubber pipes has improved through the efforts of the industry, as long as rubber is used as the main material, there is no risk of rubber deterioration due to ozone in the atmosphere, adhesion of oil droplets, high heat generated from gas equipment, etc. It is hard to get used to, and if you continue to use the rubber tube without realizing that it has reached the end of its lifespan due to the progress of deterioration, the rubber tube may become easier to pull out from the connecting pot, or gas may leak out from cracks that occur in the rubber tube body. Needless to say, leakage can lead to dangerous situations.

However, the reality is that it is generally difficult to discern the degree of deterioration of gas rubber pipes currently on the market, and it is also difficult for general users to determine when to replace the rubber pipes.

In view of these circumstances, the present invention provides a gas rubber pipe equipped with a deterioration identification layer that allows even general users to easily determine when to replace a deteriorated rubber pipe.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to an illustrated example. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, a conventional gas rubber pipe has a main inner layer 1 made of a black natural rubber compound and a Hypalon (hypalon) which has excellent ozone resistance and oil resistance. It is composed of a thin outer covering layer 2 made of (chlorosulfonated polyethylene). The thin outer layer 2 is usually colored blue when used for city gas, and orange when used for propane gas.

Of course, in applying the present invention, the colored outer thin layer 2 may be composed of a natural rubber compound like the main inner layer 1, and the main inner layer 1 can be made of a natural rubber compound like the main inner layer 1. It may also be composed of a synthetic rubber compound such as Hypalon. However, in the former case, the main body inner layer 1 and/or the colored outer layer 2 may be blended with an anti-aging agent, an anti-ozone agent, etc. to improve weather resistance.

According to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a thin outer covering layer 2 is formed on a part of the outer circumferential surface of the thin outer covering layer 2 of the rubber tube for conventional gas as shown above, over the entire length of the rubber tube. A deterioration identification layer 3 made of a natural rubber compound colored in a different color, for example white, is provided. In addition, when the main body inner layer 1 and/or the colored outer layer 2 are made of a natural rubber compound with improved weather resistance as described above, the deterioration identification layer 3 is made of a modified material such as an anti-aging agent or an anti-ozonant. Constructed from a natural rubber compound that does not contain any additives.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. The deterioration identification layer 3 is colored black like the inner layer 1.
is colored blue or orange, and as a result, if cracks occur in the deterioration identification layer 3 due to ozone deterioration, etc., as will be detailed later, the black color of the inner layer will appear on the surface.
The progress of deterioration can be clearly recognized.

As detailed above, the gas rubber tube according to the present invention has a part or the entire outer circumferential surface of the gas rubber tube that is more resistant to weathering than the adjacent portion of the outer circumferential surface or the rubber material constituting the main body of the rubber tube. Since a deterioration identification layer made of a rubber composition with poor properties such as hardness, oil resistance, or heat resistance is provided, the deterioration identification layer cracks when deterioration is accelerated by ozone, ultraviolet rays, heat, etc.
Through these cracks, a different color of the rubber layer immediately adjacent to the inner side is revealed, and the progress of deterioration can thus be clearly determined visually. If the rubber pipe is replaced using this as a guide, poisoning or explosion accidents due to gas leakage can be avoided. It is possible to prevent such disasters.
