- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ピストンピンが挿入されるピン穴の周囲に環
状ストラツトが設けられた内燃機関のピストンに
おいて、上記ストラツトが、無機質繊維から成り
上記ピン穴の壁面に露出するホルダと、このホル
ダの外周に巻回される長繊維カーボンフアイバと
を備え、かつ、上記ピン穴の略中央に設けられる
とともにこのピン穴の軸方向長さの約１／３の軸
方向長さを有することを特徴とする内燃機関のピ
ストン。 ２ 長繊維カーボンフアイバの量が、ストラツト
とピストンピンの熱膨張量が実質的に同量になる
ように定められることを特徴とする内燃機関のピ
ストン。
