  1. エンジンの排喜エネルギで作動する動力回生用
    タービンの回転力をクラツチを介してエンジン出
    力軸に伝達するようにしたターボコンパウンドエ
    ンジンにおいて、動力回生用タービンを迂回する
    バイパス通路を設け、このバイパス通路に遮断弁
    を介装する一方、エンジン負荷を検出する手段と
    、エンジン低負荷時に前記クラツチを切断すると
    共に、前記遮断弁を開弁する制御手段を設けたこ
    とを特徴とするターボコンパウンドエンジン。
