平方向に回転自在に設け、該回転テーブルを回転
させることにより同回転テーブルに取り付けた分
配シユートを旋回させる、高炉の炉頂分配シユー
ト駆動装置におけるケーシング内周部と回転テー
ブル外周部とのガスシール装置であつて、互いに
対向する前記ケーシング内周部と回転テーブル外
周部と間に両者のいずれか一方から全周に亙つて
延びるように上方に開口を有するリング状のトラ
フを設け、残る他側から全周に亙つて延びるよう
にトラフの上部開口を覆うカバー本体を設け、前
記カバー本体から下方へ延びその下端が前記トラ
フの底部近傍まで達するリング状の仕切板を設け
、トラフ内の水位がそこに差し入れられた前記リ
ング状の仕切板の下端より上側となるように制御
するトラフ水位制御手段を設け、前記仕切板のト
ラフ水面下に没する位置に貫通部を周方向に複数
設けていることを特徴とする高炉の炉頂分配シユ
